What key products, technologies, or launches did your company showcase at EXCON 2025, and how do these offerings address the evolving needs of construction, mining, and infrastructure segments such as bridges, flyovers, rural projects and smart cities?
At EXCON 2025, we showcased a strong and future-ready portfolio that reflects both today’s construction needs and tomorrow’s sustainability goals. We introduced several new product launches across conventional and electric platforms, demonstrating our commitment to innovation and responsible growth.
A key highlight was the launch of electric variants across multiple categories, including port equipment, forklifts, wheel loaders, and a mining dump truck. These electric machines are designed to support projects in urban infrastructure, smart cities, and environmentally sensitive zones, offering lower emissions, reduced operating costs, and quieter operations, an important requirement for modern infrastructure development.
Alongside electric solutions, we also unveiled upgraded versions of our core construction and mining equipment, which are widely used in bridges, flyovers, highways, rural infrastructure, and large-scale mining projects. These updates focus on improved productivity, higher fuel efficiency, enhanced operator comfort, and greater reliability in demanding site conditions.
Overall, our showcase at EXCON 2025 reflects a balanced approach continuing to strengthen our mainstream equipment portfolio while steadily advancing toward electrification and smart, sustainable solutions that align with India’s evolving infrastructure and development priorities.
How is your organisation integrating advancements in digitalisation, automation, AI, telematics and predictive technologies to enhance productivity, safety, lifecycle value and overall machine performance for customers?
Digitalisation and smart technologies are playing an increasingly important role in how we enhance productivity, safety, and lifecycle value for our customers.
Across our equipment range, we are integrating advanced telematics and digital monitoring systems that provide real-time insights into machine health, fuel or energy consumption, and location. These systems enable customers and service teams to track performance remotely, optimize machine utilization, and take predictive maintenance actions before issues lead to downtime.
We are also embedding automation and intelligent control features to improve operating efficiency and job-site safety. These include load monitoring, stability control, operator assistance functions, and automated alerts that help reduce human error, especially in complex and high-risk applications such as mining, ports, and heavy lifting. Over all, our approach to digitalisation is customer-centric while leveraging technology not just for innovation, but to deliver higher uptime, safer operations, better decision-making, and long-term value across the entire equipment lifecycle.
Which customer segments and application areas are you targeting through your product and technology offerings, especially in the context of India’s expanding infrastructure needs?
Our product and technology offerings are closely aligned with high-growth infrastructure segments in India, where both scale and sustainability are becoming critical requirements.
Ports are a key focus area for us. With increasing emphasis on faster cargo handling, higher productivity, and reduction of carbon emissions, major port operators are actively transitioning toward electric and low-emission equipment. Our solutions are designed to support this shift by enabling improved turnaround times while helping customers meet their sustainability and environmental commitments.
Another significant growth segment is renewable energy, particularly wind power. As wind turbine sizes and capacities continue to increase, there is a growing need for high-capacity lifting solutions. We are addressing this demand with advanced crawler cranes and lattice boom cranes in the 800-tonne class, which are well-suited for large turbine installation and complex lifting applications. As India’s strong push for renewable energy, we expect this demand to remain robust in the coming years.
How does your organisation ensure strong aftermarket support, customer service and high uptime for its equipment across diverse and demanding operating conditions?
With excavators being the highest TIV (Total Industry Volume) segment in India, ensuring strong aftermarket support and maximum equipment uptime is a top priority for our organisation.
We have built a robust PAN-India aftermarket network, supported by a wide presence of authorized dealers and service partners across the country. This ensures that customers operating in diverse and demanding conditions whether in urban infrastructure projects, mining sites, highways, or remote rural locations receive timely and dependable support.
Our dealer teams provide 24×7 service support, including on-site troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and rapid response for breakdowns. This round-the-clock approach significantly reduces downtime and helps customers maintain productivity even in critical project timelines.
In addition, we focus strongly on spare parts availability, technical training for service engineers, and proactive maintenance practices. By combining local presence with technical expertise and quick decision-making, we are able to deliver high uptime, consistent performance, and long-term reliability for our excavator customers across India.
Overall, our aftermarket strategy is designed to go beyond service it is about being a reliable lifecycle partner for customers in India’s fast-growing infrastructure ecosystem.
What is your assessment of the market potential for your key product categories in India, and how do you foresee demand trends evolving in 2026 and beyond?
The market outlook for our key product categories in India remains very strong and encouraging, driven by continued investments in infrastructure, mining, energy, and urban development.
Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, we see sustained demand momentum. Our order book is healthy, and evolving global supply dynamics, particularly reduced supply constraints are creating new opportunities for market expansion in India. This, combined with our growing local presence and customer confidence, positions us well for the next phase of growth.
The introduction of several new products across conventional and electric segments will further strengthen our portfolio and enable us to address a wider range of applications and customer needs. Building on the strong growth trajectory of around 40% between 2024 and 2025, we are confident of maintaining robust performance.
How is your organisation embedding sustainability, cleaner technologies and environmentally responsible practices into its products, operations and long-term strategy?
Sustainability is a core pillar of our product development, operations, and long-term strategy, especially as India accelerates toward greener and more responsible infrastructure growth.
On the product side, we are steadily expanding our portfolio of electric and low-emission equipment across key categories such as material handling, loaders, port equipment, and mining applications. These solutions are designed to significantly reduce carbon emissions, operating noise, and overall lifecycle costs, making them ideal for urban infrastructure, ports, and environmentally sensitive projects.
Alongside electrification, we continue to enhance our conventional equipment with improved fuel efficiency, optimized hydraulics, and smarter power management systems to ensure lower environmental impact without compromising performance.
From an operational standpoint, we are increasingly adopting localized manufacturing, efficient supply chains, and responsible sourcing, which help reduce dependence on imports and lower the overall carbon footprint. Localization also allows us to respond faster to customer needs while improving quality control.
At a strategic level, our long-term roadmap aligns closely with India’s sustainability goals, including renewable energy development, smart cities, and green infrastructure. By combining technology innovation, cleaner energy solutions, and responsible business practices, we aim to support customers in meeting both their productivity targets and environmental commitments.
