Our machines are designed to deliver better fuel efficiency, lower emissions and improved ease of operation

CASE India is a pioneer for its full line of powerful and robust equipment for road construction, innovative technology and customer service in India. The company has an extensive network of 70 dealers and over 235 touch points spanning the length and breadth of the country to support the products with spares and service even in remote locations. In an exclusive interview to CONSTRUCTION OPPORTUNITIES, PUNEET VIDYARTHI, HEAD OF BRAND MARKETING, CASE CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT – APAC & INDIA, gives an overview on the road construction equipment industry, product offerings, new launches, after market services and a lot more.

India’s road construction equipment industry plays a key role in the country’s infrastructure growth. Government programs like Bharatmala and Gati Shakti are driving steady demand for road building. Machines such as pavers, graders, and compactors are widely used across projects.

The sector continues to grow with large highway expansion plans and increasing urban development. Despite some impact from regulatory changes, the industry has maintained stable progress, with steady demand in recent years.

At the same time, the industry is seeing clear shifts in how equipment is used and managed. Digital tools like telematics, GPS, and IoT are helping improve efficiency and machine tracking. There is also a growing focus on cleaner technologies, in line with new emission norms. Rental models are becoming more common, helping contractors manage costs better.

Overall, the market is moving towards smarter, cleaner, and more flexible solutions.

Construction projects in India operate under tight deadlines, rising fuel costs and demanding site conditions. Keeping customer needs at the centre, we focus on solutions that improve uptime and control costs. To support this, we offer myCASEConstruction Telematics, which provides real-time data on fuel usage, engine health and machine location. Service alerts and fuel monitoring help customers plan maintenance in advance and avoid sudden breakdowns. Geo tracking improves visibility across fleets, enabling better planning and fewer disruptions.

In addition to connected technology, our machines are designed for efficiency and consistent performance. The Intelligent Hydraulic System enables better control and improved fuel efficiency during operations, helping complete tasks faster without increasing operating costs.

We have also strengthened our service network in key regions, including the launch of our Company-Owned, Company-Operated Brandstore in Tamil Nadu for the southern India region, to ensure quicker support and parts availability. This approach helps improve uptime, protect margins and support customers in staying competitive.

The shift to CEV Stage V norms has been an important step for us, as it aligns our product portfolio with evolving emission standards and changing customer expectations. This range was launched at the Bharat Construction Equipment Expo (BCEE) and included backhoe loaders such as the 770 NX, 770 NX Magnum and 851 NX, along with vibratory compactors like the 952 NX and 1107 NX. These machines are designed for a wide range of applications, including road construction, urban infrastructure and general construction work. Following this, the range was introduced across Tier II and Tier III cities through multiple regional launches, helping us stay closer to customer needs and usage conditions in these markets.

These machines are designed to deliver better fuel efficiency, lower emissions and improved ease of operation. There is also a clear focus on operator safety and reduced maintenance needs, which helps customers manage operating costs and improve uptime.

As demand continues to evolve, we remain focused on introducing products that are aligned with regulatory changes and practical on-ground requirements.

Aftermarket support and service play a key role in how customers choose equipment today. Expectations go beyond product performance.

Operators look for quick service, easy access to parts and high machine uptime, especially in remote locations and tough working conditions. As projects move across urban, rural and challenging terrains, the need for dependable service support becomes even more important.

At CASE, this is supported through a strong dealer network of 70 dealers and over 235 touchpoints across the country, helping us stay close to customers and respond faster.

We are also strengthening this presence through initiatives such as our COCO Brandstore in Tiruchirappalli, which brings us closer to customers in high-growth regions and improves service reach. Our trained service teams ensure quick response and faster turnaround time on site. We are also using telematics and connected solutions to track machine health and plan maintenance in advance. Our manufacturing base in Pithampur, with high localisation, supports faster parts availability and stable supply. Together, this helps reduce downtime, improve uptime and deliver consistent performance across operating conditions.
