In the Civil segment, KEC has won a prestigious contract for the construction of a multispeciality hospital in Central India from a leading healthcare provider. The Transportation business secured an order for the construction of a railway siding for a private client in the same region. The Transmission & Distribution (T&D) segment won several orders, including 220 kV and 132 kV cabling works for a reputed steel producer in Eastern India and the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas. The Cables & Conductors division received orders for the supply of various types of cables and conductors both domestically and internationally.

HCC secures Rs.577 Cr Railway Contract in JV
Hindustan Construction Company Limited (HCC), secured a significant railway contract valued at Rs.577.89 crore from theNortheast Frontier Railway. The project has been awarded to the HCC-VCCL Joint Venture in which HCC holds a 65% stake.
The scope of work includes balance of work construction of four critical tunnels —Tunnel No. 9 (600 m), Tunnel No. 11 (350 m), Tunnel No. 13 (400 m), and Tunnel No. 16 (600 m) — along with cut-and-cover works. It also covers earthwork in embankment and cutting to form the railway alignment, as well as protection and ancillary works between the Piphema and Zubza section under the Dimapur–Kohima New BG Line Project. This strategically significant project is a part of Indian Railways’ efforts to enhance rail connectivity in the Northeast, improving access to remote andhilly regions and supporting socio-economic development in Nagaland and neighbouring states.

Ceigall India Wins Rs.2,160 Crore Highway Contract from NHAI.
Ceigall Infra Projects, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ceigall India, has secured a road project worth about Rs.2,160 crore from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The company said it received the Letter of Award for the construction of a four-lane highway in Bihar under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM). The project involves the four-laning of the 78.942-km Sahebganj–Areraj–Bettiah section of National Highway 139W. The stretch will be developed in two segments – a 38.362-km section between Sahebganj and Areraj, and a 40.580-km section between Areraj and Bettiah. Ceigall Infra Projects will execute the project over a construction period of 730 days. The contract also includes a 15-year operation and maintenance (O&M) period following completion of construction.

- Development of distribution infrastructure for segregation of 11 KV mixed feeders at the Dholpur Circle of Jaipur Discom under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) on a turnkey basis (RFP JVVNL/RDSS/INFRA/FS/TN-610).
- Development of distribution infrastructure for segregation of 11 KV mixed load feeders at the Jhalawar Circle of Jaipur Discom under the RDSS on a turnkey basis (RFP JVVNL/RDSS/INFRA/FS/TN-612).

Patel Engineering Wins L1 Bid for Renukaji Dam Project Package-1.
Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL) has declared Patel Engineering Limited, a Mumbai-based infrastructure company, as the Lowest Bidder (L1) for the prestigious Renuka Ji Dam Project (Package-1), valued at Rs.910.08 crore including GST. The project reinforces Patel Engineering’s commitment to delivering world-class infrastructure contributing to India’s sustainable development and water resource management.Located at Village Dadahu, Tehsil Renuka, District Sirmaur, the project is slated for completion within 30 months. The scope of work includes the construction of three diversion tunnels with diameters of 9.5 meters and lengths of 1,379 m, 1,468 m, and 1,590 m, respectively. It also involves developing three inlet and outlet portals, 6 km of access roads, installation of hydro-mechanical gates, and execution of instrumentation works to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
The Renuka Ji Dam Project is designed to enhance water storage, ensure reliable water supply, and support hydropower generation in the region.

L&T Transportation Infrastructure Vertical Wins Road Development Contract in Dubai
The Transportation Infrastructure business vertical of L&T has secured a significant contract for the improvement of Latifa Bint Hamdan Street in Dubai, UAE. The order pertains to the Phase-1 of the road development initiative undertaken by the UAE authorities. The scope of the project includes upgrading the existing road corridor stretching from Emirates Road (E611) to Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311). The work involves widening the current two‑lane dual carriageway into a four‑lane dual carriageway in each direction to enhance network capacity and ease traffic flow.
A significant feature of the project will be the construction of a major structural interchange at E311, designed to enable seamless traffic movement across all directions. Beyond the interchange, the corridor will be extended with a new four‑lane dual carriageway along Latifa Bint Hamdan Street. The development also includes a dedicated interchange to facilitate U‑turn movements and provide improved access to developments located on both sides of the corridor. The project is scheduled to be completed in 36 months.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has secured an order worth between Rs.1,200 crore and Rs.1,500 crore from Hindalco Industries.The company said it has received a letter of intent (LoI) from Aditya Aluminium, a subsidiary of Hindalco Industries, for the project.The scope of work includes the design, engineering, manufacture and supply of equipment up to the project site, along with unloading, storage, erection, commissioning and performance guarantee testing for a 2×150 megawatt boiler, turbine and generator (BTG) package. The contract excludes civil works.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has received a Letter of Acceptance from Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) for the Captive Power Plant (CPP) Package No. CPP-1, part of SAIL’s 4.08 MTPA Cold Strip (CS) expansion at the IISCO Steel Plant in Burnpur. The turnkey contract includes design, engineering, manufacture, supply, transportation, unloading, storage, erection, commissioning, and performance guarantee tests for the power plant, with civil works excluded.The domestic, global tender award is valued between Rs.1,200 crore and Rs.1,500 crore (excluding GST). BHEL aims to complete commissioning within 39 months from the contract’s effective date.
