We will continue to invest in solutions that help customers maximise equipment utilisation while addressing evolving market requirements

CASE Motor Graders prioritise ease of use, safety, engine dependability, and cost-effectiveness. By integrating cutting-edge technology, these machines boost efficiency while ensuring operator safety. In an exclusive interview to CONSTRUCTION OPPORTUNITIES, PUNEET VIDYARTHI – HEAD OF BRAND MARKETING, CASE CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT, APAC & INDIA, speaks about the latest trends, his company’s motor graders, future outlook and a lot more.

The Motor Grader industry in India continues to witness positive growth, driven by the government’s strong focus on infrastructure development, road connectivity, and mining activities. Programmes such as Bharatmala, Gati Shakti, rural road development initiatives, and the continued expansion of highways and expressways are creating sustained demand for grading equipment. In addition, increased mining activities across the country are contributing to the demand for motor graders, as these machines play an important role in haul road maintenance and site preparation. The industry is also seeing growing preference for machines that offer higher productivity, fuel efficiency, operator comfort, and lower operating costs.

As project requirements continue to evolve, customers are increasingly looking for technologically advanced equipment that can improve efficiency and machine utilisation. Features such as machine monitoring, telematics, improved hydraulics, and operator-friendly controls are becoming important buying considerations. While factors such as project execution timelines, fuel prices, and global economic conditions may influence market sentiment, the long-term outlook remains positive, supported by continued investments in infrastructure and mining development across India.

CASE India continues to integrate technology solutions that help customers improve productivity, machine utilisation, and operational efficiency. Through myCASEConstruction telematics, operators and fleet managers can track machine health, fuel consumption, location, operating hours, and service requirements in real time. The system also provides maintenance alerts and performance monitoring insights that support timely service planning, helping reduce unplanned downtime and improve machine availability. Access to operating data further enables customers to optimise fuel usage, improve machine deployment, and make better fleet management decisions.

The C-series Motor Graders are equipped with an intelligent load-sensing hydraulic system that allows operators to precisely control the mouldboard, improving grading accuracy and productivity. The electronically controlled FPT engine further ensures consistent performance across applications. These technologies help improve operator comfort, machine efficiency, and lifecycle value.

At CASE, to support operators beyond the initial purchase, we offer programmes such as CASE Care and CASE Protect, which provide service support and extended coverage options based on customer requirements. We have also introduced FLEETPRO, a dedicated parts and service solution that ensures easy access to quality replacement parts for existing CASE customers. These initiatives help improve machine reliability, reduce downtime, and support long-term equipment performance.

In addition, we continue to strengthen customer engagement through operator training and skill development programmes that help improve machine handling, safety, and fuel efficiency. Our service teams work closely with customers to provide timely support and address operational requirements. By combining aftermarket solutions, training programmes, service support, and parts availability, we aim to create a better ownership experience and help customers maximise returns from their equipment investments.

CASE Construction Equipment offers a comprehensive range of Motor Graders through its C-series portfolio, including the 845C and 865C models. These machines are powered by the FPT 6.7L turbocharged electronically controlled engine and offer horsepower options ranging from 150 HP to 220 HP, making them suitable for infrastructure, road construction, and mining applications. The graders are equipped with an intelligent hydraulic system, a strong A-frame design, and a heavy-duty mouldboard that help deliver productivity and reliability across different operating conditions.

The C-series Motor Graders have been designed with a strong focus on operator comfort and ease of maintenance. Features such as the ROPS/FOPS cabin, adjustable suspension seat, electronic information centre, and industry-leading flip-up rear hood help improve operator convenience and serviceability. These machines continue to support the evolving needs of customers across applications.

Operators’ productivity depends not only on the machine but also on the support available throughout its lifecycle. Keeping this in mind, CASE has built an extensive network of 70 dealers and around 215 touchpoints across the country, enabling faster response and closer engagement with customers. Supported by trained service personnel, this network helps address service requirements efficiently and ensures customers receive timely assistance across different applications and operating environments.

To further strengthen parts availability, CASE operates a 75,000 sq. ft. central parts warehouse in Indore, supported by regional depots that help ensure quick access to spare parts across India. Through FLEETPRO, operators can access quality replacement parts that help maintain machine performance and reliability. In addition, operator training programmes are regularly conducted to promote efficient machine operation and maintenance practices. Together, these efforts help minimise downtime, improve equipment reliability, and maximise productivity for customers.

India’s continued focus on infrastructure development, road construction, and mining activities presents significant opportunities for the Motor Grader segment. At CASE, we remain focused on strengthening our product portfolio, enhancing customer support, and introducing technologies that improve productivity, efficiency, and machine performance. We will continue to invest in solutions that help customers maximise equipment utilisation while addressing evolving market requirements. With our strong manufacturing presence, extensive dealer network, and customer-centric approach, we remain well positioned to support the growth of India’s construction and infrastructure sectors.
