The 2880 MW hydroelectric project represents a substantial win for the company’s core expertise. The first contract, valued at Rs.167.86 crore, covers the Ex-Works Supply and CIF/CIP supply of all equipment and materials, including mandatory spares and tools, for the Lot-5B Package of Hydro-Mechanical works. This specifically pertains to the intake and draft tube gates and hoists of the Dibang Multipurpose project.
The second contract, worth Rs.31.98 crore, involves providing all necessary services for the same Lot-5B Package. This includes inland transportation for delivery at the site, unloading, storage, on-site handling, installation, testing, commissioning (including performance testing), and any other specified services related to the equipment supplied under the first contract.

Deepak Builders & Engineers India Limited has emerged as the L1 (lowest) bidder and subsequently received a Letter of Acceptance for a significant project from the HSIIDC Industrial Estate Karnal Authority. The company will undertake the Planning, Design, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of a Unity Mall at Sector-37, HSIIDC IE Karnal, Haryana.
The total construction cost for the project is Rs.120.85 crores (excluding GST), amounting to Rs.142.60 crores (with GST). The Letter of Acceptance was dated June 25, 2025.
Deepak Builders is tasked with completing the work within 24 months from the date of commencement. Following the construction, the project will have a 36-month defect liability period and an additional 12 months for operation and maintenance (O&M).

This initiative will contribute to Bihar’s efforts in promoting renewable energy and supporting the agricultural sector.
