Ashok Leyland secures order worth Rs.982 crore

Ashok Leyland, India’s second-largest medium and heavy commercial vehicle manufacturer, has bagged its biggest single order for fully built buses from the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC), valued at Rs.982 crore.The Chennai-based company will supply 2,104 units of its Viking passenger buses, with deliveries commencing next month. These buses will adhere to the latest CMVR standards, feature an AIS 153 compliant body, and be equipped with the advanced iGEN6 BS VI OBD II technology, including a 197 HP H-Series engine and rear air suspension. The buses will be produced at Ashok Leyland’s dedicated bus body plants in Alwar, Rajasthan, and Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Bondada Engineering Ltd Secures Order from KPI Green Energy Ltd

Bondada Engineering Limited has secured a substantial order from KPI Green Energy Limited. The contract, valued at Rs.59 crore which includes the supply of Balance of System (BOS) items and services for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) works at two locations in Gujarat. The order amount includes Goods and Services Tax (GST).

L&T Secures Rs.2,500 Crore Order from ONGC

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured an order worth up to Rs.2,500 crore from the State-run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).The order, managed by the L&T Energy Hydrocarbon (LTEH) vertical, pertains to the eighth phase of the pipeline replacement project (PRP-VIII Group B) off India’s west coast. The project involves engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPCIC) of 129 km of subsea pipelines and associated modification works across ONGC’s west coast offshore fields.

Man Industries India Ltd secures order worth Rs.1850 crore

Man Industries (India) Limited has bagged a order worth approximately Rs.1,850 Crores, marking the largest single order in the company’s history. The order, awarded by a leading international Oil & Gas company, entails the supply of high value-added line pipes of API5L Grade for a mega offshore project in the sector. Delivery of the order is expected to span the next 12 to 18 months.

Advait Infratech Ltd. secures Rs.158.90 crore order

Advait Infratech Ltd. has been awarded a Letter of Intent (LOI) for a turnkey contract valued at Rs.158.90 crores (excluding GST). The contract, titled “Site survey, designing, engineering, procurement, supply, loading, transportation, unloading, insurance, delivery at site, handling, storage, installation, testing, commissioning including documentation of all items/material required to complete works for Turnkey Based Contract of 11kV Medium Voltage Covered Conductor (AL59 ACS) at Gujarat State. The scope of the project includes a wide array of tasks from initial site survey to final documentation, aimed at ensuring the successful implementation of 11kV Medium Voltage Covered Conductor infrastructure in Gujarat. This initiative is expected to contribute significantly to enhancing electrical infrastructure capabilities in the state.

L&T Secures Major Contract for Construction of Two Fleet Support Ships.

Larsen & Toubro’s Precision Engineering Systems business vertical has secured a prestigious order for the partial construction of two Fleet Support Ships (FSS) from Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL), with the Indian Navy as the end user. The Indian Navy signed a contract with HSL in August 2023 for the design and construction of five FSS vessels. These specialized naval ships provide logistics and material support to naval task forces at sea. Each FSS will measure over 220 meters in length and have an approximate displacement of 45,000 tons, making them some of the largest vessels in the Indian Naval Fleet.

Aligned with the Government of India’s vision of “Aatmanirbhar Bharat,” these vessels, a first of their kind, will be built domestically. To meet challenging delivery timelines, the ships will be concurrently constructed by both L&T and HSL. This collaborative shipbuilding approach is intended to rapidly enhance the Indian Naval fleet while promoting economic activity and technological advancement in India’s maritime sector.

L&T will construct the two Fleet Support Ships at its greenfield shipyard in Kattupalli, near Chennai, on India’s east coast. This state-of-the-art shipyard, designed in-house, adheres to globally benchmarked technological practices.

Constronics Infra Ltd secures Rs.42.32 crore order

Constronics Infra Ltd has bagged a contract worth Rs.42.32 crore from KCP Infra Limited. The contract involves the construction of a Flyover including Junction Improvements at Km 348/6 – 349/8 of NH 67 (corresponding to Km 15/6 – 16/8 of New NH 181). The project is set to commence shortly, with timelines and milestones aimed at ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards as per the contractual agreement between Constronics Infra Ltd and KCP Infra Limited.

RVNL Emerges as Lowest Bidder for Rs.133 Crore Project

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L1) for a contract worth Rs.133 crore from Central Railway. The contract pertains to “OHE modification work for Upgradation of existing 1 x 25 kV Electric Traction System to 2 x 25 kV AT Feeding System in Wardha-Ballarshah Section in Nagpur division of Central Railway to meet 3000 MT loading target.”

The project, valued at Rs.132,59,20,130.37 crore, is expected to be completed within 24 months.

RVNL Secures Order from North Central Railway

Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) has been awarded a contract worth Rs.72.73 crore by North Central Railway. The contract involves the provision of EI-based automatic signaling with continuous track circuiting and associated works. This includes indoor alterations in electronic interlocking (EI), Route Relay Interlocking (RRI), and Panel Interlocking (PI) stations along the Dhaulpur Gwalior Section of Jhansi division in North Central Railway.The project aims to enhance signaling infrastructure and improve operational efficiency along this important railway section.

RVNL secures order worth Rs.138 crore from Central Railway

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Central Railway valued at Rs.138.45 crore. The LoA encompasses the modification of Overhead Equipment (OHE) to upgrade the existing 1 x 25 kV Electric Traction System to a 2 x 25 kV AT feeding system in the Amla-Nagpur section of Nagpur division under Central Railway. This upgrade aims to meet the 3000 MT loading target. The project is slated for completion within 24 months, with the total project cost set at Rs.138.45 crore.

Mehai Technology Limited Secures Order from Sungevity Enterprises

Mehai Technology Limited secured a order worth Rs.855.00 crores from Sungevity Enterprises Private Limited (SEPL) for providing comprehensive services. The scope of work includes the following:

  1. Design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a Smart Solar Street Light System, along with a Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMC) for 5 years, including a Remote Monitoring System (RMS). This project is part of the ‘Mukhyamantri Gramin Solar Street Light Yojana’ in the state of Bihar.
  2. The order involves the delivery of 300,000 solar street lights, with a contract value of approximately Rs.855.00 crores. The agreement takes effect from July 8, 2024, the date of signing.
  3. The supply of the solar street lighting system will adhere to tender specifications, including 20W luminaries, 12.8V 54AH Lithium Ferro Phosphate batteries, and 120W polycrystalline solar PV modules.

The project execution is to be completed within six months from the date of the work order issuance by the client, followed by a 5-year maintenance period.

EMS Limited Secures Rs.141.12 Crore Order with LOA

EMS Limited has been awarded a contract by Uttarakhand Power Corporation Ltd. for the “Development of Distribution Infrastructure-loss reduction works at EDC Dehradun rural Circle of Uttarakhand” under the Revamped Reforms-based and Results-linked Distribution Sector Scheme.The Letter of Award (LOA) specifies an order value of approximately Rs.141.12 crore. EMS Limited holds a 95% share in the project, with the remaining 5% owned by another joint venture partner.

Ircon International secures Rs.751 crore order

Ircon International’s joint venture (JV) Ircon-Paras-PCM has secured a letter of award (LoA) for a project worth Rs.751 crore from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL). Ircon International Limited (IRCON) has been awarded a LOA for the work of ‘Design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of broad gauge ballastless track (BLT), supply of ballast, and installation of track (excluding supply of rails and track sleepers) between chainage 6+015 (FLS) to 125+200 (FLS) in connection with the New BG line between Rishikesh and Karanprayag (125km) in the state of Uttarakhand, India’ through a Joint Venture i.e. IRCON-Paras Railtech Private Limited-PCM Strescon Overseas Ventures Limited [IRCON-PARAS-PCM (JV)] in the ratio of 60:25:15 respectively. Ircon International has been tasked with the comprehensive execution of the broad gauge ballastless track (BLT) project, excluding the supply of rails and sleepers, along the New BG line from Rishikesh to Karanprayag in Uttarakhand, India. This project includes the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the track from chainage 6+015 (FLS) to 125+200 (FLS).Valued at Rs.751 crore, inclusive of GST, the project is expected to be completed within 42 months. The project has been awarded to the IRCON-PARAS-PCM JV in the ratio of 60:25:15 respectively.

Transformers & Rectifiers Soars with Rs.148 Crore Order Acquisition

Transformers And Rectifiers (India) bagged multiple orders totaling Rs.148.55 crore. The company secured contracts from NCC, Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL), and Adani Energy Solutions for the supply of transformers and reactors, specifically for the PPP-8, 9 & 10 RTM Rajasthan project. NCC’s order, valued at Rs.72.5 crore, involves the design, engineering, manufacture, testing, supply, and installation of 2 units of 500 MVA, 400/220/33 kV transformers and 2 units of 125 MVAr, 420 KV reactors. This project is expected to be completed by January 2026.
