KEC International Secures Rs.1,136 Crore Orders in Key Infrastructure Sectors.

KEC International, a major player in infrastructure EPC, has bagged new orders worth Rs.1,136 crore across its transmission and distribution, transportation, and oil and gas pipeline divisions.

In the transmission and distribution sector, KEC won a 765 kV transmission line project from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL). In transportation, the company secured an order for the implementation of the Train Collision Avoidance System under India’s ‘Kavach’ initiative. Additionally, KEC received a design, supply, and build order for pipeline and associated works from a public sector undertaking in India.

Mazda Secures Rs.98 Crore Order.

Mazda has secured an order valued at ₹98 crore from an international client, the company announced. According to its exchange filing, the order pertains to the manufacture and supply of a multi-effect evaporator for a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plant. The project is slated for completion within the next 9 months.

This significant order enhances Mazda’s standing in the engineering sector and reinforces its commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to its global clientele.

Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd Emerges L1 for Central Railway Order.

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L1) for the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 132/55 KV Traction Substation, Sectioning Posts (SPs), and Sub-sectioning Posts (SSPs) for the 2 x 25 KV Traction System on the Bhusaval-Khandwa Sections of Central Railway. This project is aimed at meeting the 3000 MT loading target on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) mode.The total cost of the project is Rs.137 crore including applicable taxes.

CRI Pumps Secures Rs.754-Crore Order

CRI Pumps, a global leader in fluid management solutions, has been officially empanelled by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) to supply 25,000 solar pumping systems under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump (MTSKP) scheme. Valued at Rs.754 crore, the project is a significant move towards promoting renewable energy in Maharashtra’s agricultural sector.

This empanelment positions CRI Pumps as a key player in advancing green energy adoption, contributing to the state’s sustainability goals. The solar pumping systems will offer farmers reliable, eco-friendly, and cost-effective energy solutions, transforming agricultural practices across the region.

Supreme Power Equipment and Danya Electric Win Rs.20 Crore Orders

Supreme Power Equipment Limited (SPEL), a leading manufacturer of power and distribution transformers, has secured two significant orders totaling Rs.20.07 crore.

The first order, worth Rs.12.81 crore, has been awarded by Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) for the supply of 100 kVA distribution transformers. In addition, Danya Electric Company, a partnership firm 90% owned by SPEL, has bagged a separate order valued at Rs.7.26 crore.

Both orders come with a supply timeline of 18 months, during which SPEL aims to ensure timely delivery while maintaining its stringent standards for quality and reliability.

Solex Energy Wins Rs.29-Crore Order

Solex Energy has bagged a significant contract worth Rs.29 crore from Zodiac Energy for the supply of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules. The order includes the delivery of 20 MW Solex Bifacial Perc Solar Modules, with completion expected within three months as per the agreement terms.

Adani Ports Places Rs.450 Crore Order for 8 Tugs with Cochin Shipyard.

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) has placed a Rs.450-crore order with Cochin Shipyard for the construction of eight tugs. The tugs are scheduled for delivery between December 2026 and May 2028, aiming to enhance the efficiency and safety of vessel operations at Indian ports.

These tugs will not only improve operational efficiency but also contribute to the ‘Make in India’ initiative by leveraging world-class local manufacturing capabilities. APSEZ has previously collaborated with Cochin Shipyard for the construction of two 62-tonne bollard pull ASD (Azimuthing Stern Drive) tugs for its subsidiary, Ocean Sparkle Ltd. Both tugs were delivered ahead of schedule and are now operational at Paradeep Port and New Mangalore Port.

Additionally, three more ASD tugs are under construction at Cochin Shipyard, bringing APSEZ’s total tug fleet order to 13. The initiative is part of the company’s strategy to modernize its fleet, ensuring reliable and efficient port services.

WCIL Wins Rs.139-Crore Logistics Contract from Vedanta.

Western Carriers (India) Ltd (WCIL) has been awarded a Rs.139-crore material handling contract by Vedanta Ltd for its Jharsuguda plant. The four-year agreement includes handling imports, finished goods for domestic markets, and export operations. Founded in 1972, WCIL specialises in rail-focused, asset-light supply chain solutions. The Kolkata-based firm operates as a fourth-party logistics (4PL) provider, offering integrated services across road, rail, and sea/river transportation for domestic and international cargo. WCIL has a strong presence in sectors such as metals, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, and oil and gas. Its customised single-window logistics solutions are designed to address complex supply chain needs, positioning it as a trusted partner for diverse industries.

NBCC Secures Rs.300-Crore Work Order in Varanasi, Rs.44-Crore Contract at AIIMS Gorakhpur.

NBCC has secured a Rs.300-crore contract for the development of the Jawaharlal Nehru Commercial Complex (JLNCC) in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The project, which will be developed on a self-sustainable model, was awarded by the Varanasi Development Authority, the company announced in a regulatory filing recently.

In addition to this, NBCC has been awarded a Rs.24.38-crore contract to construct the Mehta Family School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at IIT Roorkee in Uttarakhand. The scope of work includes the installation of internal electrical infrastructure, HVAC, firefighting and alarm systems, lifts, audio-visual systems, CCTV, and Building Management Systems (BMS).

The company has also secured a Rs.44.37-crore work order from Power Grid Corporation for the construction and furnishing of a 500-bed multi-storey “Vishram Sadan” at AIIMS Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh.

In total, NBCC has secured work orders amounting to Rs.368.75 crore in the normal course of its business. The company is involved in Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), and real estate development.

Power Mech Projects Wins Work Order from Adani Power.

Power Mech Projects has secured a significant order worth Rs.294 crore (excluding GST) from Adani Power Limited (APL). The contract is for overhauling services, condition assessment, erection, testing, commissioning, and manpower assistance for the Performance Guarantee Test of the Steam Generator (SG) and Steam Turbine Generator (STG) at Unit 3 and 4 of the 2×660 MW Korba Phase-II Thermal Power Project. The deal also includes an incentive of Rs.1.25 crore per unit, contingent upon achieving synchronization within the stipulated timeframe.

DMR Hydroengineering & Infrastructures Ltd Receives LOA for Rs.9 Crore Order.

DMR Hydroengineering & Infrastructures Limited is receipt of a Letter of Award (LOA) for providing consultancy services for detailed design, engineering, and project management consultancy (PMC) work for the Tertiary Treated Water Conveyance Tunnel. This project spans from Dharavi Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) to Ghatkopar WWTF (DGT). The contract, which has a duration of 93 months, is valued at Rs.9 Crore (excluding applicable taxes). This new order marks a significant achievement for the company, further strengthening its position in the infrastructure and water treatment sector.

Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL), along with its international subsidiaries have secured new orders/notification of awards of Rs.1,011 Crores.

The details of the aforesaid new orders are as follows:

  • Orders in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business in overseas market
  • Orders in the Railway business in India
  • Orders in the Buildings & Factories (B&F) business in India

Vishnu Prakash R Punglia Ltd wins order.

Vishnu Prakash R Punglia Limited has bagged a significant contract from Hissar Builders for the fabrication of FOB (Foot Over Bridge) Steel Girders at Gamharia, SINI, and Rajkharswan (RKSN) Station in the Chakradharpur Division. After submitting a competitive quotation, Vishnu Prakash R Punglia Ltd was selected as the supplier for this crucial project. The purchase order, valued at Rs.7.29 crore, has been officially accepted by Hissar Builders, marking a major milestone for the company. This contract further underscores Vishnu Prakash R Punglia Ltd’s growing presence and expertise in the infrastructure sector.

Kernex Secures Rs.2,041 Crore KAVACH Railway Safety Contract.

Kernex Microsystems (India) Limited has secured a Rs.2,041.04 crore contract from Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, a division of the Ministry of Railways. The project involves the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 2,500 On-board KAVACH systems, adhering to RDSO Specification No. RDSO/SPN/196/2020, Version 4.0.

The KAVACH system, also known as the Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) or Automatic Train Protection System (IRATPS), is a cutting-edge safety technology aimed at preventing train collisions and enhancing operational security. The project is set for completion within 12 months.

Kernex, an RDSO-approved vendor, has played a pivotal role in developing and deploying railway safety technologies. With over 33 years of expertise in railway safety systems, software design, and networking services, the company has been at the forefront of modernizing India’s rail infrastructure.
