Oriana Power bags Rs.138 crore contract for 20-MW solar project

Oriana Power Ltd has won a contract worth Rs.138 crore from Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) to set up a 20MW AC ground-mounted solar photovoltaic power plant at Dugdha washery area, Dhanbad, Jharkhand.

The EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) phase of this project is slated for completion within 12 months. This comprehensive contract includes GST and O&M charges and encompasses a spectrum of activities ranging from design and procurement of solar equipment to construction, meticulous testing, seamless commissioning, integration with the transmission network, and a steadfast five-year operation and maintenance commitment.

NCC Secures Contracts Worth Rs.8,398 Crore Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy bags order worth Rs.1,130 crore from  GIPCL

NCC’s secured four contracts worth Rs.8,398 crore. The contracts, awarded to NCC’s electrical division, involve electrical metering and distribution projects.

The first two contracts, valued at Rs.5,755 crore, are from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Corporation and are related to advanced metering infrastructure projects, to be executed on a design, build, finance, own, operate transfer basis.

Another contract was received from the North Bihar Power Distribution Corporation, also for an advanced metering infrastructure project. The fourth contract, worth Rs.319 crore, was awarded by the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company and pertains to the upgradation of its distribution automation system.

Patel Engineering, JV bag Rs.3,637 crore contract from NHPC

Infrastructure company Patel Engineering Ltd along with its joint venture (JV) partner have bagged a Rs.3,637 crore order from state-owned NHPC in Arunachal Pradesh. Patel Engineering share in the contract is Rs.1,818.56 crore. Patel Engineering along with the JV partner has received letter of award for Dibang Multipurpose Project for construction of civil works for Lot-4 from NHPC Limited.The partnership will be a 50:50 one and the contract includes construction of head race tunnels including intake, pressure shafts, penstocks, power house and transformer cavern. The work in the engineering, construction and procurement (EPC). The project includes construction of tail race tunnels, pothead yard etc for NHPC’s 2880 MW (12 X 240 MW) Dibang multipurpose project.

Power Mech Projects Limited has received the following orders worth Rs.723.90 Crores.

Order Worth Rs.158.67 Crores from Raichur Power Corporation Limited for Operation and Maintenance of 2×800 MW Coal based Yeramarus Thermal Power Station (YTPS) at Chikkasugur, Raichur District, Karnataka.

Order worth Rs.565.23 Crores from Madhya Pradesh State Mining Corporation Limited for Sand Mining as Mine Developer Cum Operator for a period of three years in the areas of Narmadapuram -2, Raisen and Narasingpur in the State of Madhya Pradesh. These Contracts would be executed through special purpose vehicles to be incorporated for the same.

Titagarh Rail Systems bags Rs.350 crore contract for Ahmedabad Metro project

Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd (TRL) formerly Titagarh Wagons has received a letter of acceptance for a Rs.350-crore contract from Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) for the design, manufacture, supply, testing, commissioning and training of 30 standard gauge cars.

The standard gauge cars are for Ahmedabad Metro Rail Phase-II project, an official said.

The prototype Metro car has to be built in 70 weeks and the entire contract has to be delivered in 94 weeks. The cars will be manufactured at our Uttarpara plant in Hooghly district,” said Prithish Chowdhary Titagarh Rail Systems Director (Marketing & Business Development).

NBCC bags work order worth Rs.180 cr

NBCC (India) has bagged a work order worth Rs.180 crore from Steel Authority of India (SAIL) to provide consultancy and project management (PMC) services on deposit work basis for Bokaro steel plant (BSL). The company will provide PMC solutions for the upcoming Infrastructure-related projects of BSL, township, mines and collieries. Moreover, the execution time period for the contract is yet to be decided.

Shakti Pumps India Ltd receives order worth Rs.358 crores

Shakti Pumps (India) Limited has received its first work order under the KUSUM-3 scheme from Haryana Renewable Energy Department (HAREDA) for 7,781 pumps. The total amount of the work order is for around Rs.358 Crores (inclusive of GST).

Jyoti Ltd has secured prestigious orders of Rs.1950 Lakhs (Excluding GST) for Design, Engineering, Supply of Pump & Motor Sets, including maintenance from JSIW Infrastructure Private Limited, Ahmedabad for Saran Pipeline Project, and Dantiwada Package – 2.

Jyoti Ltd has secured orders of Rs.4100 Lakhs (Excluding GST) for Design, Manufacturing, Supply and Supervision of Erection & Commissioning of 32 Nos. Vertical Turbine Pumps along with 32 Nos. HT Induction Motors with spares from Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Limited, Hyderabad for Southern link Projects, Gujarat.

Nila Infrastructures Limited bags construction order for Rs.101.64 crore

Nila Infrastructures Limited received work for construction of 1694 Residential flats (R.C.C. Work, Masonary Work, Frame fitting with Plaster Work – Material + Labour} at Ramapir No Tekro, Wadaj, Ahmedabad.

The project given to the Company is for the construction and development of residential units by rehabilitating Slums popularly known as ‘Ramapir no Tekro’ at Wadaj – Ahmedabad. The project has originally been awarded by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) to Shree Infracon Private Limited (SIPL) under the Slum Rehabiliation and Redevelopment Policy 2013 pursuant to Pradhanmantri Awas Yojna.

SIPL has given the work of construction and development of the project to the Company for construction and development of 1694 residential units for total development cost of Rs.101.64 crore.

Maharashtra Seamless Limited receives orders of Rs.157 crores

Maharashtra Seamless Limited has received orders with cumulative basic value of Rs.157 crores approx. from Oil India Ltd. and IOCL Ltd. for supply of seamless pipes. Out of the above, Rs.106 crores approx. is from Oil India Ltd. and Rs.51 crores approx. is from IOCL Ltd. The delivery locations are Assam and Haryana.

BHEL receives Rs.2241.86 crores order from NHPC

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has received Rs.2241.86 crores (excluding taxes) order from NHPC Limited. The order is for design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection and commissioning of Electro-Mechanical package involving Turbine, Generator, Digital Governing System, Static Excitation System, Transformers, Bus Reactors, Gas Insulated Switchgear, Outdoor Pot yard & Switchyard Equipments and Electrical & Mechanical BoPs for 12×240 MW Electro-Mechanical Works of Dibang Multipurpose Project at Roing in Arunachal Pradesh. Major equipment for the contract will be manufactured by BHEL’s plants at Bhopal, Bangalore, Jhansi and Rudrapur. The on-site execution activities will be carried out by the company’s Power Sector – Eastern Region division, Kolkata.

BEML Ltd receives order worth Rs.163 cr

BEML Limited has received contract for export order from M/s KAMSS Ltd, Russia, for BEML Dozer BD355 valuing Rs.163 cr. Contract to be executed in different phases starting from August, 2023, for which purchase order has been received.

Patel Engineering JV receives LOA for Rs.1275.30 crores order

Patel Engineering Limited, a civil construction Company specialized in the hydropower and irrigation sector, along with the JV Partner has received letter of award for Urban Infrastructure Development Project of Rs.1,275.30 crores from Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam, which was declared as L1 earlier. The Company being 35% partner in the JV, our share in the project is Rs.446.36 crores.

The project is to be completed in a period of 24 months and further operations and maintenance for the whole scheme to be carried out for a period of 10 years.

The T&D Business KEC International Ltd., an RPG Group Company, has received a prestigious turnkey order in its Transmission and distribution (T&D) business for the Design, Supply, and Installation of a 380 kV Overhead Transmission Line in Saudi Arabia.

Oriana Power bags Rs.134.6 crore multi-crore orders for solar projects in Karnataka , Rajasthan

The first order, valued at Rs.100.2 crore, represents an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract obtained from a steel company. This contract entails the construction of a 29 MW captive open-access solar power plant in Karnataka.

The second order, worth Rs.34.4 crore, pertains to the establishment of a 7 MW DC solar plant in Rajasthan. This project was awarded by a cement player in the final week of August. Oriana Power will be responsible for supplying auxiliary panels equipped with metering capabilities as well as the supply and installation of cables.

KEC International bags multiple contracts worth Rs.1,012 cr

Global infrastructure EPC major KEC International has bagged new contracts in domestic and global markets across its various businesses. The total cost of these contracts is Rs.1,012 crore.

In its civil business, the firm has secured orders from new clients to build a data centre in Western India, and another order is for setting up a manufacturing facility for a global FMCG major in Southern India.

The RPG Group company has also secured orders to construct a 765 kV transmission line for an existing private client in India, and the other contract is to supply towers, hardware and poles in America.

For its cables business, the company has won a contract to supply various types of cables in India and overseas.

GE Power  Bags Rs.25 Crore Order From Vedanta

GE Power India Ltd surged nearly 8% on Wednesday, a day after the company announced in an exchange filing that it received a Rs.25 crore purchase order from the metals-to-oil conglomerate Vedanta Ltd.  The General Electic-owned company informed the exchanges on September 12 that it received a purchase order from Vedanta to implement NOX reduction measures at the latter’s Lanjigarh Combined Gas Power Plant (CGPP) unit. The order pertains to the combustion modification of the boiler at the 90MW (3×30 MW) CGPP unit. The contract has a base value of Rs.25 crore or $3 million (plus 18% GST) and is to be executed in 14 months.
