In a significant development, IRB Infrastructure Trust, the private Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT) affiliated with IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd, has successfully clinched a lucrative Rs.1,683-crore contract from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The contract pertains to the Transfer of Operate and Transfer (TOT) bundle TOT-13, encompassing the Gwalior-Jhansi section on NH-44 and the Kota Bypass on NH 76 projects.

After a competitive bidding process, the Trust emerged as the preferred bidder for the revenue-linked concession, securing a tenure of 20 years for the project. This milestone represents a strategic move for IRB Infrastructure Trust, consolidating its position in the transport infrastructure sector.

Ministry of Railways (Railway Board….has awarded an order to the company for manufacture and supply of 4,000 numbers of BOXNS wagons, Jupiter Group is a manufacturer of railway wagons, components for passenger coaches, and alloy steel casting for rolling stacks and tracks. It also manufactures application-based load bodies for commercial vehicles, other products include marine containers and refrigerated containers.

GPT Infraprojects Limited (GPTINFRA) has been declared L1 (First Lowest) in order valued at Rs.267 Crore by MORTH, Government of India through Office of Superintending Engineer National Highway Circle No II, Public Works (Roads) Directorate.

The contract is for construction of 4 lane Raniganj Bypass of length 5.261 km on NH-60 (new NH-14) from km 275.20 of NH 60 to km 478.18 of NH-2 (New NH 19) in Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal in EPC Mode.

Genus Power bags Rs.1,026.31 cr contract to supply smart metres

A subsidiary of Genus Power Infrastructures (GPIL) has received a letter of award (LoA) for a contract worth Rs.1,026.31 crore. The company has been appointed as an advanced metering infrastructure service provider (AMISPs). As an AMISP, the company will undertake work such as designing of advance metering infrastructure (AMI) systems, along with supplying, installing and commissioning with FMS of about a million smart prepaid metres, system meters, including DT meters with corresponding energy accounting. The contract is to be carried out on design, build, finance, own, operate and transfer (DBFOOT) basis.

Mining of river bed mineral (RBM) located in river bed of Dehradun, Haridwar, Udham singh Nagar and Nainital Districts for Rs.1,517.60 Crores (303.52 Crores per annum for a period of five years). This Contract would be executed through special purpose vehicle to be incorporated for the same.
