Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy bags order worth Rs.1,130 crore from GIPCL

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy (SWRE) has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Gujarat Industries Power Company (GIPCL), for its proposed 600 MWac (equivalent to 750 MWdc) solar PV project at Khavda. The total bid value, including O&M for three years, would be around Rs.1,130 crore (including taxes and duties).

The project comprises two blocks, each with 300 MWac. Scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning along with a 3-year operation and maintenance contract.

Kalpataru Projects International (KPIL) & its international subsidiaries have secured new orders/notification of awards of Rs.2,261 crore.

The details of the aforesaid new orders are as follows:

  • Orders in the T&D business of Rs.2,036 crores in overseas markets
  • Cross country oil & gas pipeline project in India of Rs.225 crores

R P P Infra Projects Ltd wins a new order worth approx Rs.138.24 Crores

RPP Infra Projects Ltd and HS Engineers Associates- M/s RPP-HSEA JV, has been received a letter of acceptance for a new project viz,H1 Package-Engineering Procurement, Construction, testing, commissioning, trial run and operation and maintenance of various components of Augments of sources of various LWSS from River Beas of barsar area (Barsar Constituency) in Tehsil Barsar District Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh (Under NDB FUNDING) IN single package on “Turn-key job basis” including trial run, defect and liability period and running and maintenance of the entire scheme for 5 years at the cost of Rs.138.24 Crore.

M/s RPP Infra Projects Limited (51% holding) along with its JV Partner (49% holding) will invest in the project as per their capacity of holding and complete the above project within the decided time line.

BEML secures contract worth Rs.3,177 cr from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation

BEML has secured the letter of acceptance (LoA) from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRC) for supply of rolling stock contract 5RS-DM.

The package is valued at approx. Rs.3,177 crore. BEML emerged as the lowest bidder to manufacture and supply 318 coaches for Bengaluru Metro’s Phase-2, 2A, and 2B corridors, with a maintenance period of 15 years.

Ircon International Limited awarded work of Rs.144 crore

Ircon International Limited (IRCON) has been awarded the work for Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of Integrated Tunnel Communication Systems, OFC based industrial grade network system including laying of OFC & other cables for Railway network which includes tunnels and stations in JiribamKhongsang section of Jiribam-Imphal new Railway Line Project at a total price of Rs.144 Crore.

The Indian Hume Pipe Company Limited receives order of Rs.639.16 cr.

The Indian Hume Pipe Company Limited has received Letter of Award of the value of Rs.639.16 Crores (excluding GST) from Rural Water Supply & Sanitation, Odisha for Execution of Rural Piped Water Supply Project pertaining to six blocks of Puri District, Odisha including 5 years Operation and Maintenance on EPC contract. The project is to be completed within 2 years.

Ahluwalia Contracts Secures Order Worth Rs.199.58 Crore

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Limited has secured an order worth Rs.199.58 crore from the Indian Financial Technology and Allied Services (IFTAS) for civil works.

The company has secured the order for carrying out civil structural, façade, and related external development works for Enterprise Computing and Cybersecurity Training Institute situated in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha.

The company expects to complete the order within a period of 20 months.

L&T Construction Awarded Large multiple orders for its Heavy Civil Infrastructure Business

The Heavy Civil Infrastructure business vertical of L&T construction has won multiple orders from prestigious clients.

An order has been received from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), for the Design and Construction of an Underground Metro Project in connection with Joka – Esplanade Metro Corridor in the city of Kolkata.

The major scope of work for project comprises “Design and Construction of the Ramp and Underground Metro Railway Works from Mominpur (Excl.) to Esplanade, 5.05 Km (from chainage 9063.00m to 14113.00m) including four underground stations (viz. Khidderpore, Victoria, Park Street and Esplanade), tunnels by Tunnel Boring Machine and Cut & Cover methods, architectural finishing works, track works, etc”.

Another order has been bagged from a reputable client in the Middle East for a mandate to rehabilitate structures for strategic purposes. This Package is the first of its kind for L&T in the Middle East market. The scope of work includes Feasibility study, Concept design, Detailed design, Construction, and installation of Special systems.

Patel Engineering emerges as lowest bidder for water supply project in Madhya Pradesh.

Patel Engineering’s emerged as the lowest bidder for a drinking water supply project in Madhya Pradesh valued at Rs.1,275.30 crore. The project, awarded by Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam encompasses Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Testing, Commissioning, Trial runs, and Operation and Maintenance of a water supply project in Ujjain and Indore, for ten years. The agreement specifies a 24-month project completion deadline and a 10-year commitment to run and maintain the system. The project’s geographical scope spans Ujjain and Indore, and is being executed in a joint venture, with Patel Engineering’s share at 35 per cent, equivalent to Rs.446.36 crore.

KEC International wins new orders of Rs.1,065 crore

KEC International Ltd., a global infrastructure, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) major, an RPG Group Company, has secured new orders of Rs.1,065 crores across its various businesses.

The company’s Transmission & Distribution (T&D) department has secured orders for projects in India, Africa and Americas. This includes a 400 kV transmission line and GIS Substation order in India, from a subsidiary of a reputed PSU in renewable power generation segment and 400/220 kV AIS Substation order from a leading private developer.

It has also supplied towers in Africa. Its subsidiary, SAE Towers, has supplied towers, hardware and poles in Americas. KEC International cables division has also secured orders for supply of various types of cables in India and overseas.

  2. Ahan C2 Tower – Piramal Aranya – Mumbai M/s. Glider Buildcon Realtors Private Limited – Rs.25.04 crores.

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWRE) has won orders worth Rs.826 crore in the first four months of FY 2023-24.

The orders aggregate to around 1 GWp and include projects in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat. Scope of work for all projects include design, construction and commissioning. The projects will create hundreds of construction jobs, thus benefiting the local community.

L&T bags mega order from bullet train project Rs.7,000 crore.

Infrastructure major Larsen and Toubro’s arm L&T Construction has bagged a ‘mega’ contract from the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) to construct the 135.45 km stretch MAHSR – C3 package which is part of the prestigious Mumbai Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Project, the company said in a stock exchange filing. The scope for the MAHSR – C3 package includes the construction of viaducts, stations, major river bridges, depots, tunnels, earth structures, stations, and other auxiliary works.

The approximately 508 km Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail project, also called the MAHSR Bullet Train project, will cover 155.76 km in the state of Maharashtra, 4.3 km in the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and 348.04 km in the State of Gujarat with 12 stations along the route.

Rail Vikas Nigam bags order worth Rs.1,088

Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Haryana Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation (HRIDC) for a project worth Rs.1,088 crore. The LoA is for “Package No. C-4: Composite Contract Package in connection with New BG railway line of HORC project.” The estimated cost of the project is Rs.1,088.49 crore, to be executed in 1,460 days (4 years).

KEC International secures new orders worth Rs.1,007 crore

Engineering firm KEC International has bagged new orders worth Rs.1,007 crore, including for the construction of a multi-speciality hospital.

Its civil business vertical secured an order for design, engineering, procurement and construction of a multi-speciality hospital in eastern India. The company’s transmission and distribution business secured an order for a 380 kV overhead transmission line project in the Middle East. The cable business bagged orders from within the country and abroad.

GMR subsidiary secures Rs.7,593 cr smart meter project order.

GMR Smart Electricity Distribution has been awarded an order worth Rs.7,593 crore to implement a large-scale smart metering project under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) programme.The company is a subsidiary of GMR Power and Urban Infra (GPUIL).The order, received under the DBFOOT (design, build, finance, own, operate, and transfer) model, entails 75.69 lakh prepaid smart meters across two discoms – Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam (DVVNL) and Purvanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam (PuVVNL), making it the largest combined package order of its kind, The scope of the project encompasses the design, supply, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of prepaid smart metres, infrastructure covering consumer premises, as well as at the network level, including distribution of transformers and feeders for an aggregate period of 10 years. The project will span across 22 districts covering prominent areas such as Varanasi, Prayagraj, Agra, Mathura, and Aligarh among others.

RVNL secures NHAI contract for road upgradation in Odisha

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited has received a Letter of Award (LOA) worth Rs.808.48 crores from the National Highways Authority of India. The order is for the rehabilitation and upgradation from 4 to 8 laning of Chandikhole – Paradip Section of NH-53 (Old NH-5A) from Km. 60.000 to Km. 76.646 in the State of Odisha.
