Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL), a leading engineering and construction company, has secured new orders totaling Rs. 2,774 crore. These contracts include major international projects in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) sector, a Design & Build project for a residential building in India, and an airport extension project from the Airports Authority of India (AAI).

Deep Industries bags Rs. 1,400 Crore Order from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).

The contract involves Production Enhancement Operations at ONGC’s Rajahmundry Asset, spanning 15 years. Production Enhancement Contracts (PEC) aim to boost hydrocarbon production from aging and depleted fields, extending their operational life by approximately 15 years. The project will focus on enhancing hydrocarbon reserves at the Rajahmundry asset through efficient practices and advanced technologies.

Gensol-Matrix Consortium Secures Rs. 164 Crore for India’s First Bio-Hydrogen Project.

Gensol Engineering, a leading solar EPC and electric mobility solutions company, and Matrix Gas & Renewables, a developer of green hydrogen infrastructure, have been awarded a Rs. 164 crore contract for India’s first biomass-to-green hydrogen project. The consortium emerged as the lowest bidder for the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) of the pioneering facility.

The project involves setting up a 25 tonnes per day (TPD) bio-waste processing facility designed to produce 1 TPD of green hydrogen. Gensol Engineering will leverage patented technology from its strategic partner, Westinghouse USA, which specializes in pre-gasification plasma-induced radiant energy-based gasification systems used in multiple global plants.

BEL Wins Orders Worth Rs. 1,155 Crore.

Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL), a state-owned aerospace and defense company based in Bengaluru, has secured new orders totaling Rs. 1,155 crore. The largest of these is an Rs. 850 crore contract from Cochin Shipyard Ltd to supply an indigenous Multi-Function Radar. Developed by DRDO and manufactured by BEL, this radar operates in the X Band and is designed to detect, acquire, and track airborne targets to safeguard naval ships. Additionally, BEL has received an order worth Rs. 305 crore for a range of products and services, including navigational complex systems for ships, thermal imagers, communication equipment, fire control systems, gun control systems, and related spares and services.

MIC Electronics Ltd Secures LOA from Northern Railway’s Lucknow Division for Rs. 2.54 Crore Order

MIC Electronics Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the Lucknow Division of the Northern Railway Zone for an order to provide an Integrated Passenger Information System at PRG, PYGS, and PFM Stations in preparation for Mahakumbh-2025.

The project is scheduled to be completed within nine months from the date of the LOA.

Transformers and Rectifiers India bags new orders worth Rs. 252 Crore.

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited (TRIL) has secured new orders worth Rs. 252 crore from three domestic clients. The orders include transformers and reactors from SPIL (Rs. 91 crore), KEPIPL (Rs. 70 crore), and JSPL (Rs. 91 crore).The orders encompass transformers ranging from 50 to 500 MVA and 33 kV to 420 kV class. TRIL is set to deliver these transformers by the next financial year.

HPL Electric & Power Ltd Secures Orders Worth Rs. 143.77 Crore.

HPL Electric & Power Limited has been awarded work orders and letters of award worth Rs. 143.77 crore (inclusive of taxes) from its regular leading customers. The orders, which involve the supply of smart meters and conventional meters, will be executed according to the terms and conditions outlined in the letters of award and work orders.

SSEGL Wins Rs. 62.53 Crore MEP Contract for Vinfast’s Tamil Nadu Factory

Sathlokhar Synergys E&C Global Limited (SSEGL) has secured a major Rs. 62.53 crore contract from Vinfast Auto India Private Limited. The contract entails the execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) work for Vinfast’s new electric vehicle factory in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu.

The project scope includes installations for electrical systems, mechanical HVAC systems, plumbing, and firefighting infrastructure. SSEGL is scheduled to complete the work by December 2024.

RPP Infra Projects Wins Rs. 55.50 Crore Water Supply Contract in Tamil Nadu.

RPP Infra Projects Limited secured a Rs. 55.50 crore contract from the Avadi City Municipal Corporation in Tamil Nadu. This project is part of the Tamil Nadu Climate Resilient Urban Development Plan (TNCRUDP) under the “Amrut 2.0” initiative. It involves providing 24×7 water supply to designated pilot zones in Avadi City and enhancing the existing water supply distribution system.

The contract includes the operation and maintenance of the water supply system for five years. Awarded by the Commissioner of Avadi City Municipal Corporation, the project is expected to be completed within two years.

Aurionpro Secures Rs. 200 Crore ‘Safe City Contract’ from Panvel Municipal Corporation

Aurionpro Solutions Limited has been awarded a major contract worth over Rs. 200 crore by the Panvel Municipal Corporation in Maharashtra. The five-year deal designates Aurionpro as the Technology Partner for the Panvel Safe City initiative. The project will cover Panvel’s expanded 110-square-kilometer area and involves deploying cutting-edge surveillance and smart city technologies. Key elements of the initiative include the establishment of data centers, a control command center, and advanced video analytics. The system will feature AI-driven technologies such as facial recognition, IP-based public announcements, automatic number plate recognition, and an e-challan mechanism. Aurionpro is set to complete the initial implementation phase within 12 months, with ongoing maintenance and support to follow. The initiative aims to significantly enhance public safety, with a special focus on improving security measures for women.

Advait Infratech Wins Major Green Hydrogen Contract worth Rs. 200 crore

Advait Infratech Limited secured a major contract to establish manufacturing facilities for 200 MW of alkaline electrolysers in India. The contract, valued at approximately Rs. 200 crore, was awarded by the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) Scheme (Tranche-II). The contract aims to enhance domestic production of green hydrogen technology. Advait Infratech is set to develop facilities to produce alkaline electrolysers with a capacity of 200 MW, supporting India’s goal of advancing sustainable energy solutions and achieving self-reliance in green technology manufacturing.

This initiative is part of the SIGHT Scheme, which seeks to accelerate the integration of green hydrogen into India’s energy landscape. The specific timeline for the project’s completion has not yet been disclosed.

ITI bags contracts in Bihar worth Rs. 300 crore

ITI Limited, a public sector telecom manufacturing company, has secured an order worth approximately Rs. 300 crore from the Bihar Renewable Energy Development Authority (BREDA). This contract involves the supply and installation of 100,000 solar street light systems across 10 districts in Bihar, including Gopalgunj, Siwan, and Patna, under the “Mukhyamantri Gramin Solar Street Light Yojana.” The company will execute the project using solar panels manufactured at its Naini plant.

DEE Development Engineers Wins Rs. 26.59 Crore Contract from L&T Energy

DEE Development Engineers Limited has secured a Rs. 26.59 crore contract from L&T Energy Hydrocarbon’s Module Fabrication Facility in Kattupalli, Tamil Nadu. The contract, scheduled for completion by July 30, 2025, involves piping spool fabrication, including non-destructive testing, post-weld heat treatment, blasting, and painting.

Shakti Pumps Wins Rs. 9.40 Crore Order from Jharkhand for Solar Water Pumps

Shakti Pumps (India) Limited has secured an order from Jharkhand, valued at Rs. 9.40 crore, including GST. The Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency has awarded the company a contract to provide 400 Solar Water Pumping Systems (SWPS) under Component-B of the PM-KUSUM scheme.

The Department of Agriculture, Jharkhand, has tasked Shakti Pumps with designing, manufacturing, supplying, transporting, installing, testing, and commissioning the solar water pumping systems. The company is required to complete these tasks within 120 days of receiving the Notice to Proceed.

SEPC Limited bags order worth Rs. 182.57 crore

SEPC Limited has been awarded a Rs. 182.57 crore contract by the irrigation division of the Bihar government. This turnkey project, part of the Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan initiative, involves providing drinking water to the towns of Bhabhua and Mohania using surface water. SEPC’s responsibilities include detailed survey, planning, design, construction, and installation, with a 12-month execution period, a three-month trial run, and 60 months of operation and maintenance.

BHEL Wins Rs. 11,000 Crore Power Project Contracts from Adani

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has secured contracts exceeding Rs. 11,000 crore from Adani Power Limited and its subsidiary, Mahan Energen Limited. These agreements involve the development of three supercritical thermal power projects, each with a capacity of 2×800 MW, to be located in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

Under the terms of the contracts, BHEL will be responsible for supplying critical equipment such as boilers, turbines, and generators. Additionally, BHEL will oversee the erection and commissioning of these projects, which are scheduled for completion within a timeframe of 49 to 55 months.

The projects include two located in Kawai, Rajasthan, and one in Mahan, Madhya Pradesh. This substantial domestic order significantly strengthens BHEL’s position in the power sector and adds to its growing order book.

The project was awarded by Lumina Clean Energy, Purelight Energy, and VVKR Photovoltaics Energy, which are special purpose vehicles created by Paradigm IT Technologies and Metalcraft Forming Industries.
