(MPRDC) to undertake a Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) project through its special purpose vehicle, Western Bhopal Bypass Pvt. Ltd. The contract, valued at Rs.1,174 crore, involves the construction of a four-lane Western Bhopal Bypass in Madhya Pradesh.

L&T wins Contract to Construct Residential Towers in Thane

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has won a significant contract in the realm of buildings and factories, from a prominent real-estate developer to construct multi-storeyed residential towers in Thane, Mumbai.

Valued between Rs.1,000 crore to Rs.2,000 crore, this contract encompasses the construction of core and shell works for five towers, each soaring 62 floors high, along with an associated parking facility featuring basements, ground, and five podiums.

J. Kumar Infraprojects Limited has been awarded the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) by CIDCO Limited as the sole bidder for the “Design and Construction of Coastal Road from CH 2900 to CH 5800 (MTHL Junction) at Ulwe, Navi Mumbai.The total contract cost for this project amounts to Rs.912,28,36,877.28

Madhav Infra Projects Ltd Secures LOA for New Project Order

Madhav Infra Projects Limited has been awarded a project by the Office of the Executive Engineer, Public Work Department, Bridge Construction Division in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. The project entails the construction of a Railway Over Bridge to replace Level Crossing No. 25 on the Bina-Katni section, spanning from Sagar Bus Stand to Sadar Bazar Road near Dimple Petrol Pump in Sagar City District.

AWHCL Secures Contract from CIDCO

Antony Waste Handling Cell Limited, a prominent integrated solid waste management company in India, bags a contract valued at approximately Rs.77 Crores for bio-mining MSW in CIDCO. Under the banner of AWHCL, its subsidiary Antony Lara Enviro Solutions Private Limited will spearhead the project, focusing on reclaiming the entire dumping area and deploying cutting-edge mechanical processes for resource recovery. The primary objective of the project is to reclaim the dumping area and process an estimated 8.6 lakh tonnes of legacy MSW within a 730-day timeframe. Bio-remediation stands at the core of the project, involving the implementation of bio-mining and mechanical methodologies to reclaim land previously utilized for garbage dumping. The waste will undergo meticulous segregation at a Material Recovery Facility, championing resource recovery by sorting various materials such as RDF (refuse-derived fuel), compost, inert materials, and soil.

KEC International bags Orders Worth Rs.2,257 Crores

KEC International Ltd., a global infrastructure EPC major and an RPG Group Company, has bagged new orders totaling Rs.2,257 crores across various sectors.

In the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) segment, the company has secured contracts for T&D projects both in India and the Americas. This includes orders for 765 kV Transmission lines and substations from the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) in India, as well as orders for the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas.

In a significant development, the Oil & Gas Pipelines business has clinched its inaugural international order for a pipeline laying project.

The Civil business has added to its portfolio by securing an order in the metals & mining segment from a prominent steel player in India.

The Cables business has obtained orders for the supply of various cable types in both the domestic and international markets.

Torrent Power wins order worth Rs.1,540-Crore

Torrent Power Ltd received Letter of Award from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co Ltd (MSEDCL) for an project worth Rs.1540 crore.The 306 MW grid-connected solar power project spanning 48 locations throughout Nasik district in Maharashtra.

Under the auspices of MSEB Solar Agro Power Ltd the project falls within the purview of the MSKVY 2.0 scheme, specifically designed for the implementation of feeder-level solarization under Component C of the PM-KUSUM scheme, intricately linked to the distribution network. Torrent Power Ltd anticipates completing the project within a commendable timeframe of 18 months, offering a tariff of Rs.3.10/kWh for a duration of 25 years.

L&T Construction wins Significant Contract from AIIMS Madurai

Larsen & Toubro’s Buildings & Factories (B&F) vertical has secured a Rs.1000 to 2500 order from AIIMS Madurai, Tamil Nadu, falling under the PMSSY division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.The project entails the construction of a comprehensive medical campus, comprising a 720-bed hospital, a 150-bed Infectious Diseases Block, a 30-bed AYUSH Block, a medical college, nursing college, auditorium, hostel facilities, and residential units, to be completed within a timeframe of 33 months.

RVNL’s Joint Venture Secures LOA for Indore Metro Rail Project

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) in partnership with URC has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL) for the “Part Design and Construction of Elevated Viaduct, Five Elevated Metro Rail Stations (namely Shaheed Bagh, Khajrana Chauraha, Bengali Chauraha, Patrakar Colony, and Palasia Chauraha), and Ramp between Chainages 31+755 to 34+898.061 & 3+669.547 to 5+862 for the Indore Metro Rail Project.The contract is valued at Rs.543 crore, excluding GST, with RVNL holding a 51% share and URC holding a 49% share in the project.

Jupiter Wagons has won an order of a Rs.957 crore from the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) for the manufacturing and supply of BOSM Wagons.

The Ministry of Railways awarded Jupiter Wagons the prestigious manufacturing and supply contract for 2,237 units of BOSM wagons. These wagons are specially designed to facilitate the efficient transport of bulk goods such as coal and ore within the Indian railway network.

Patel Engineering wins Rs.525.36 Crore Contract in Khammam City, Telangana, With Joint Venture Partner

Patel Engineering Limited along with its joint venture partner, has been granted the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) by the Irrigation & CAD Department, Government of Telangana, for a contract worth Rs.525.36 crore. The contract entails the construction of an 8.5 km Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) Protection Wall on both the right and left banks of the Munneru River, extending from Polepally to Prakashnagar in Khammam City, situated in Khammam District. Additionally, the project involves the construction of embankments spanning 2 kilometers each on both sides of the River Munneru near the Nagarjuna Sagar Left Bank Aqueduct in Khammam City. This comprehensive approach underscores the project’s significance in bolstering the area’s irrigation infrastructure and water management systems. The targeted completion timeframe is of 24 months.

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited wins Multiple Contracts worth Rs.1549 crore

Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) has won contracts from the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Ltd and the Madhya Pradesh PoorvKshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Ltd in Jabalpur.

RVNL has won a major order worth Rs.251 crore from the Madhya Pradesh PoorvKshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Ltd for a comprehensive project encompassing supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 11 KV Line associated works in Jabalpur city. This includes critical tasks such as 11 KV Line Bifurcation, Interconnection, Conductor Augmentation, and LT AB cabling augmentation, along with the conversion of LT Bare conductor to AB cabling. The contract spans over 24 months. RVNL also won an order from Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Ltd, with the company receiving two letters of award. These awards pertain to the development of distribution infrastructure in the South and North zones of Himachal Pradesh, as part of the revamped reforms-based and results-linked distribution sector scheme. The value of these projects are substantial, with the South zone project estimated at approximately Rs.888 crore and the North zone project at around Rs.410 crore.

PSP Projects Limited has won new Work Orders totaling Rs.386.24 Crores (excluding taxes).

The first order involves the construction and maintenance of the Human and Biological Gallery at Science City, Ahmedabad, for Gujarat Council of Science City. Valued at Rs.268.11 Crores (excluding taxes) in the Government Category, this project is scheduled to be completed within 18 months.

The second order pertains to the construction of the Commercial Building ORYX at GIFT City, Gandhinagar, worth Rs.118.13 Crores (excluding taxes) in the Institutional Category. The completion timeframe for this project is set at 24 months.
