Give us an overview of the Compaction & Paving equipment industry
in India, latest trends and market dynamics
Compaction & Paving Equipment industry in 2021 has almost
remained flat in comparison to 2020. However, we see the demand
for Asphalt Sensor pavers is gradually growing, owing to recent
state highways & expressways packages and is likely to be further
accentuated with lots of projects on the anvil.

With a massive number of projects being announced and awarded,
how do you see the market shaping up going forward.
As we are getting free from Pandemic woes, we expect the projects to
pick speed. The Government has prioritized infrastructure development
and substantial funds have been earmarked for the same. Thus, we
expect the market to grow.
However, there are other impediments such as the prevailing funding
& liquidity crisis in the market for funding the equipment. However, with
the cash flow easing after the pandemic, this liquidity crisis is expected
to soften and accelerate market growth in 2022.
