Dilip Buildcon Ltd bags two HAM projects in Andhra Pradesh worth Rs.1,373.6 crore

Dilip Buildcon has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) for two HAM projects under Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-1 of Package-1 and Package-4 in Andhra Pradesh from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

The scope of the projects involves the development of a six-lane access-controlled greenfield highway from Kodur to Vanavolu of Package-1 of NH-544G, Bengaluru Vijayawada Economic Corridor. The bid is worth Rs.599.50 crore for the project. Similarly, Package-4 involves development from Odulapalle to Nallacheruvu-palli of NH-544G, Bengaluru Vijayawada Economic Corridor, and the bid is worth Rs.774.10 crore for the project.

The completion period for both Package-1 and 4 is estimated to be 24 months, and the operation period is 15 years.

Antony Waste Group secures Rs.1024 Crore order for Collection, Transportation, Processing and Disposal of Construction & Demolition Waste

Antony Waste Handling Cell Limited (“AWHCL”), India’s leading integrated solid waste management company, enhances its leadership in the waste management space with AG Enviro Infra Projects Private Limited, its wholly owned subsidiary, securing an Rs.1,024 Crore order for Collection, Transportation, Processing and Disposal of Construction & Demolition Waste in the Western Division of Mumbai.

The contract is a first of its kind for the Company and the project entails collection, transportation, processing & disposal of construction & demolition (C&D) waste in 9 wards of Western Division of the city of Mumbai. The contract tenure is for 21 years which includes mobilization period of 12 months. The Contract would involve Collection and processing of around 600 tpd of debris waste with a potential upside of about 25%.

The key features of the order include:

  • Processing of Construction & Demolition Waste using mechanized process into useful products and its sale into the market. Disposal of inert to the disposal site.
  • Collection & Transportation of Construction & Demolition Waste.

R.P.P Infra Projects wins New Order worth Rs.183.60 Crores

The Company has won an order for Construction of Integrated Storm Water Drain Works in M1 & M2 Components in Kovalam Basin in expanded areas in Greater Chennai Corporation Package 4, Package 5 & Package 8 and is expected to be completed within 24 Months from the appointed date.

L&T Construction awarded Significant contract for its Buildings & Factories Fast Business

The Buildings & Factories (B&F) Fast Business of L&T Construction has secured a significant repeat order from a reputed and prestigious commercial developer, one of India’s largest mixed-use developers and operators. The mandate is to construct two towers with commercial office space in Hyderabad with approximate built-up areas of 28.91 lakh sq. ft and 28.53 lakh sq. ft respectively.

The project scope includes civil work for the composite structure including MEP, finishes & façade to construct the towers in 6B+G+22 floors and 6B+G+41 floors configurations. The project is scheduled to be completed in 18 months.

Rail Vikas Nigam bags orders worth Rs.1,058 crore

Rail Vikas Nigam has emerged as the lowest bidder for metro projects in Surat and Ahmedabad. The combined projects are worth Rs.1,058 crore.

Rail Vikas Nigam participated in a consortium with Siemens India to bid for the above projects in Surat and Ahmedabad, in which Siemens is the lead partner with 65% share and RVNL has a share of 35%.

For Surat metro rail project – Phase 1, RVNL has to oversee the power supply receiving and distribution system and the project cost is estimated at Rs.673.80 crore. The Surat metro rail project is to be completed in 19 months. Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Power Supply Receiving & Distribution System, 750 V DC Third Rail Traction Electrification and Scada System for Surat Metro Rail Project Phase-I,”

Similarly, for Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-2, RVNL will be in charge of testing and commissioning of power supply receiving and distribution systems. The project cost is estimated at Rs.384.30 crore with a completion time of 19 months.

Ion Exchange (India) bags contract is valued at Rs.726.13 crore

Ion Exchange (India) has received a contract order from Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) for the works pertaining to Panipat refinery capacity expansion project (P-25) at Panipat, Haryana The contract includes installing water treatment plant including reverse osmosis, demineralization plant, condensate polishing unit and zero liquid discharge plant. The contract is valued at Rs.726.13 crore. The project is to be constructed and commissioned within 24 months from the date of letter of acceptance (LoA) and entails an operation and maintenance period of two years.

Choice Group wins another contract worth over Rs.60 Crores for Jal Jeevan Mission

Choice Consultancy Services Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of (Choice International Limited), a diversified conglomerate has recently won contracts amounting to approx. Rs.60 Crores to provide support for various rural water supply schemes under Indian government’s Jal Jeevan Mission.

The scope of work for the contracts have been awarded for the state of Maharashtra for Project Management Consultancy Services. The estimated total project cost will be Rs.4800 Crores and is expected to generate consultancy fees for Choice Group of Rs.60 Crores to be executed over a period of 2 years.

L&T Construction Wins Significant Orders for its Various Businesses

The Construction arm of Larsen & Toubro has secured orders for its Power Transmission & Distribution and Buildings & Factories Businesses.

Power Transmission & Distribution

The Renewables arm of the Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) Business has received a turnkey EPC order to establish a 112.5MW Solar Power Plant in south-western part of West Bengal. The state undertaking, which is implementing this project with financing from a foreign development bank, has awarded this package on an international competitive bidding basis.

In central-western part of Uttar Pradesh, the Business has received an order to undertake works for the development of power distribution infrastructure under the Revamped Reforms-linked Distribution Scheme. The scope includes loss reduction works including GIS asset mapping.

Further in the overseas market, the Business has won an order to implement the electrical system along with the associated civil and instrumentation works for an Energy company in the Middle East.

Buildings & Factories

The Buildings & Factories Business has secured an order from Nanavati Max Super Specialty Hospital to construct a state-of-the-art 600-bed super specialty hospital at Vile Parle, Mumbai.

The scope of work in this brownfield project includes turnkey construction of a total of 7.3 lakh Sqft.in 2 Phases with composite steel structure, finishing, MEP, MGPS, 15 Modular OTs, 3 LINAC bunkers, PTS and related external development works.

The building configuration is 3B+G+11 floors. Phase 1 is to be completed in 23 months and Phase 2 in 17 months with a 3-month gap between both phases for shifting and demolishing existing buildings.

RailTel bags Rs.170.11cr contract from Puducherry govt for Smart City

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd, a Mini Ratna Public Sector Unit (PSU) under the Ministry of Railways has received a work order from the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management, Government of Puducherry for design, develop, supply, install, test, commission and Operations and Maintenance (O & M) for five years of Integrated Command Control Centre (ICCC) and other associated activities for Puducherry Smart City.

The estimated total value of the work order is Rs.170.11cr (including GST) which will be completed in 10 months’ time.

Bhel bags steam turbines contract for Ukai Thermal Power Station

Bhel has bagged a renovation & modernisation (R&M) contract of steam turbines for Ukai Thermal Power Station worth Rs.300 crore. The order for R&M of the 200 MW Unit-3 and the 210 MW Unit-5, has been placed with Bhel by Gujarat State Electricity Corporation. Bhel is also the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of these turbine sets, which have been successfully operating for around 40 years, before being taken up for R&M. Bhel’s scope of work in the contract includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, dismantling, erection, testing and commissioning of the steam turbines and associated auxiliaries.

Genus Power Wins Mega Smart Metering Order Under RDSS worth nearly Rs.2,856 crore

Genus Power Infrastructures, has won an order worth nearly Rs.2,856 crore under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS). Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd, together with its wholly-owned subsidiary Hi-Print Metering Solutions Pvt Ltd, have received letters of award of Rs.2,855.96 crore. The two companies have accordingly been appointed as Advanced Metering Infrastructure Service Provider (AMISP) to works relating to design of AMI system with supply, installation and commissioning of 29.49 lakh smart prepaid meters, DT metering, HT and Feeder Metering Level energy accounting and FMS (facility management service) of these 29.49 lakh smart meters.

Surya Roshni bags order worth Rs.114 crore from BPCL

Surya Roshni said that it has bagged an order worth Rs.113.63 crore from Bharat Petroleum Corporation for its Hyderabad pipeline project. The contract involves supply of bare and 3LPE (external) coated line pipes for BPCL’s project located Krishnapatnam – Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. The project has to be executed within a period of 9 months. Surya Roshni is the largest GI steel pipe manufacturer and the second largest in lighting products and manufacturing conglomerate with business interest spanning steel pipes, cold rolled sheets and 3LPE coated API pipes, LED and conventional lighting products, fans, electric appliances, PVC pipes etc.

RITES Limited is a Miniratna (Category-I) Schedule ‘A’ Public Sector Enterprise and a leading player in the transport consultancy and engineering sector in India, secured an order of Rs.76.08 Crores for Provision of EI based Automatic Signalling in Dhaulpur- Gwalior Section of Jhansi Division of North Central Railway.

RITES Limited has secured a new EPC work of Rs.76.08 Crores for Provision of EI based Automatic Signaling with continuous track circuiting and other associated works along with suitable indoor alterations in Electronic interlocking /RRI/PI stations enroute in Dhaulpur- Gwalior Section of Jhansi division of North Central Railway.
