            of machines, new launches and a lot more.
                                                            Briefly give us an overview of the Crushing & Screening equipment
                                                            industry, the latest trends, current business drivers, sector challenges
                                                            and market dynamics? What are the types of crushing & screening
                                                            equipment currently most in demand?
                                                            The C&S equipment industry has evolved significantly over the last
                                                            two & half decades in terms of plant capacity build-up as well as
                                                            technology, i.e., from 50 TPH of Jaw-Jaw-Jaw Crusher combinations to
                                                            500 TPH & above of Jaw Crusher–Cone Crusher(s)–VSI combination as
                                                            an industry standard. When the national highways expansion projects
                                                            started more than two decades ago the standard capacity plants
                                                            were 150 – 200 TPH. However, as projects became larger in size &
                                                            timelines compressed, plant capacities steadily went up to 250-300
                                                            TPH & in some cases even 350 TPH!
                                                            An interesting trend over the last decade has been the steady growth
                                                            of mobile crushing plants. Despite having a premium over stationary
                                                            / portable plants, many road contractors are ready to invest in them
                                                            as they are compact, easily transportable, self-contained, require no
                                                            civil work & are ready to be operated in a day’s time, sometimes even
                                                            a few hours’ time if the associated infra is in place! This has enabled
                                                            the contractor to focus on road building activity, his core competence.
