Dilip Buildcon secures new order worth Rs.1,061 crore from GMRC

Dilip Buildcon Limited via its RBL-DBL JV has received LoA from Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited in the state of Gujarat. The project is for the construction of a 10.559 Km Elevated Viaduct and 11 Nos. Stations (Excl. E&M, Architectural Finishing, and Roofing) from Bheshan Dead End {Ch.-949.63 m) to Majura Gate Station, including Viaduct Ramp to Depot Entry Near Bheshan for Surat Metro Rail Project Phase-1. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.1,061 crore. The company expects to complete the project within a period of 26 months.

RITES Limited wins order worth Rs.499.41 crore from BMRC

RITES Limited’s won a major order from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRC).

RITES Limited has secured a new business order for the construction of a Depot cum Workshop from the BMRC. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.499.41 crore.

KEC International Ltd has won new orders of Rs. 1,123 crore across its various businesses:

Transmission & Distribution (T&D): The business has secured orders for building substations in India:

  • 400 kV Digital GIS Substation order in India, from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL)
  • 400 kV GIS Substation order in India, from a reputed industry

Railways: The industry has bagged an order for construction of bridges and associated works for new railway line in the conventional segment in the country.

Civil: The business has secured an order for infra works in the Hydrocarbon segment in India.

Cables: The business has secured orders for various types of cables in India and overseas.

L&T’s construction arm bags significant orders for its power transmission & distribution business

L&T Construction’s Power Transmission & Distribution Business has received several orders both in India and internationally.

The company has received a contract to build a 765kV transmission line in Gujarat. This network extension will boost the ‘available power transfer capacity’ of the interstate transmission system.

The company also received an order to upgrade the distribution system in a state in North-East India. This project’s scope involves the reinforcement of medium and low voltage distribution networks.

The company has also received repeat orders to construct new 132kV substations in the United Arab Emirates.

Furthermore, it also received an order to build a 380kV overhead line in Saudi Arabia, which will assist in enhancing the evacuation infrastructure and increase grid dependability in the Kingdom’s western area.

As the distribution system in Bangladesh’s Dhaka and Narayanganj agglomerations is being improved, the company has received contracts to build two additional 132kV and 33kV substations in these areas as well.

Industrial Park:

To Set-up and establish Industrial Unit in 36 Acre of Land for the development and upliftment of Industry in Tribal region of Gujarat for a project costing Rs.25 crore.

KEC International secures new orders worth Rs.1,407 crore

KEC International Limited, an RPG Group Company, and a global infrastructure EPC giant have received fresh orders worth Rs.1,407 crore.

The company has received orders for T&D projects in the Middle East including 400 kV Transmission lines, part of Kuwait, and a 380 kV Transmission line in Saudi Arabia.

For its civil business, the company has secured an order for the construction of official quarters and associated facilities for senior Government officials in India.

KEC’s Railway business has received orders for Signaling & Telecommunication works of the Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) under ‘Kavach’ in a consortium in India.

Furthermore, the cable business of the company has secured orders for various types of cables in India and overseas.

Indian Hume Pipe securing Rs.194 crore project

The Indian Hume Pipe Company Limited received Letter of Acceptance under Jal Jeevan Mission project. The LoA is for the work of Rs.194.03 crore (excluding GST) from Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran Division, Buldhana, under Jal Jeevan Mission Project for Jalgaon Jamod 150 Villages Regional Rural Water Supply Scheme in Dist. Buldhana, Maharashtra. The project is to be completed within 24 months with a trail run for 12 months after completion of project.

ITD Cementation India Limited has secured new orders worth Rs.1,755 crore from various clients.

The company has secured an order for the construction of West Container Terminal in the Port of Colombo, Sri Lanka. In addition to this, it has received another order for the construction of Berth and Yard facilities at Dhamra Port (2 packages) in Odisha. Further, the company also received an order for piling and civil work for Coke Oven Project at the Hazira plant in Gujarat.

L&T Construction bags significant orders for buildings & factories business

Larsen & Toubro Limited Construction’s buildings & factories business has received an order from a top car manufacturer to build a cutting-edge manufacturing plant in Haryana, India.

The scope includes the design and execution of civil, structural, and architectural works, as well as external development activities. This victory follows a notable order from Reliance Life Sciences, a prominent biotech company, to build their cutting-edge life sciences products manufacturing plant in Maharashtra, India.

The company has also received a contract from the Government of Assam’s Public Works Department to build a police reserve campus in Guwahati. The scope of work comprises the design and construction of police lodging, office space, multi-level parking, and affiliated buildings in all areas including structure, finishes, MEP, and related exterior development works. This project is scheduled to be completed in 36 months.

The time period by which the order is to be executed is 11 months.Further, the order is for Manufacture & Supply of 10 Nos. Gas to Gas Heat Exchangers and caters to domestic market.

Sterling & Wilson Renewable wins Rs.2,212 crore order from NTPC REL

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited has received an order from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) for its projected 1,255 MWac / 1,568 MWdc solar PV project at Khavda RE Power Park in Rann of Kutch, Gujarat.

SWRE was granted the Contract on October 1, 2022, with a total value of Rs.2,212 crore (including taxes, duties, and O&M for three years). The company emerged as the L-1 (lowest) bidder in competitive bidding against the contract invited by NTPC REL. The project’s contract agreement has been signed between NTPC REL and SWRE. The scope of work for the project comprises design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning, as well as a three-year operation and maintenance contract.

Bajaj Electricals secures new contract worth Rs.332.65 crore from PGCIL

Bajaj Electricals Limited has received a supply of goods/services contract from PGCIL, a domestic entity. The contract has been received under the ‘Transmission line Tower Package TW04’, to be executed in Maharashtra. The scope of work includes the supply of goods/services under Transmission line Tower Package TW04 for ‘765 kV D/C Navasari (New) (South Gujarat) – Padghe line (Maharashtra portion)’ – associated with Transmission Network Expansion in Gujarat to increase its ATC from ISTS. The company expects the above project to be completed within a period of 15 months from the date of issue of NOA/LOA.

Pennar Group, a prominent provider of value-added engineering goods and solutions, has received orders totaling Rs.1,167 crore across its several business verticals. The company has received orders from major clients like NTPC, RIL, Genesis Construction, Yamaha, Integral Coach Factory, AE Engineering, Thermal Energy Systems, etc. The orders are received for the company’s Solar EPC, Ascent Buildings, USA, ICD, Railways, Tubes, Pre-Engineered Buildings, and Steel verticals. The company stated that the orders listed above were received in September 2022 and are expected to be completed within the next two quarters.

Jyoti Limited informed has secured prestigious order of Rs.73.60 crore for the design, engineering, manufacturing, testing & supply of large capacity Vertical Pumps and HT/LT Motors for the Water Resource Department (WRD), Andhra Pradesh. The project has been received through the contractor M/s PLR Projects Ltd, Hyderabad for 7 pump Houses of GNSS TO HNSS LIFT IRRIGATION SCHEME.

The order comprises the supply of 53 pump sets, 53 sets of LT & HT motors with a maximum capacity of 3.5 MW, a forced water lubrication system, and spares.

Rail Vikas Nigam wins contract worth Rs.408 crore from NHAI

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has been awarded contract for Construction of 4 Lane highway from Samarlakota to Achampeta Junction (for 12.25 km) by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) as a part of Kakinada port to NH – 16 connectivity in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

This project is under Bharatmala Pariyojana on EPC mode at a total awarded cost of Rs.408 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing on Thursday.
