Dilip Buildcon receives order from MCL

DBL has bagged an order worth Rs1,000cr from Mahanadi Coal field (MCL).

An order has been received for the hiring of HEMM for removal of all types of materials in all kinds of strata for exposing various coal seams from surface, down to Lajkura seam including its drilling, excavation, loading, transportation, dumping, spreading, and dozing at specified areas for dumping at Samaleswari OCP, IB Valley area for a quantity of 109 MBCM, the company said in a press note to the exchanges today. The contract period is 1,825 days.

MEP Infra ties up for Thane-Vadape road project

Road developer MEP Infrastructure has achieved financial closure for a hybrid annuity model (HAM) project in Maharashtra. The project involves the construction of eight lanes on the Vadape-Thane section of NH-3, which currently has just four lanes.MEP Longjian VTR Pvt Ltd, the SPV created for the project, has received Rs. 567.78 crore as project finance, the company said. The rest of the funds for the project — bid at a cost of Rs. 1,183 crore — will be contributed by MEP, through a Rs. 142-crore equity infusion, and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), through a Rs. 473-crore grant. At present, MEP Infra has 10 operational projects, including six toll collection projects in as many States, three OMT (operate-maintain-transfer) projects and one BOT (build-operate-transfer) project.

HG Infra Engg Ltd Bags Road Project in Haryana

HG Infra Engineering Limited was declared L-1 bidder for a new Hybrid Annuity mode project “Rewari- Ateli Mandi section of NH-1. The project work includes upgradation of four lane of Rewari-Ateli Mandi section from 11.780 kilometer at Rewari to 43.445 kilometer near Ateli Mandi, for a length 31 km as feeder route with the construction period for the project is 2 years, while the operation period is 15 years. HG provides engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services on a fixed-sum turnkey basis and undertaking civil construction and related infrastructure projects, in the road construction space. With 22 orders under execution, the Company has presence in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra and Arunachal Pradesh. The Company has built a robust business model built around complete integration, large fleet of in-house equipment and skilled manpower.

Power Mech Bags its Maiden Contract from Indian Railways

Power Mech on last week said the company has bagged its maiden contract from Indian Railways for rail electrification. The company has bagged its maiden contract in the Railway Electrification Segment for a contract price of Rs 350 crore, a BSE filing said. The work comprises design, supply, testing and commissioning of 25 KV, 50 HZ, single phase, AC Electrification including OHE, TSS, civil and signal and Telecom (S&T) as composite electrification work. This would be done in Rewari-Sadulpur-Hanumangarh, Sadulpur-RatangarhBikaner-Lalgarh including Ratangarh – Sardarsahar in Bikaner division of North Western Railway under RE Project Ambala, total 606 RKM/727 TKM, the company said. The company is expected to commission the work within a period of 24 months.

L&T arm bags orders in Q2

Infrastructure major Larsen and Toubro  said that its heavy engineering arm has bagged additional orders worth over Rs 1,000 crore during the September quarter. The L&T Heavy Engineering, the heavy engineering arm of Larsen & Toubro, has secured additional orders worth 1,050 crore in the second quarter this fiscal. "These include three super heavy hydrocracking reactors for an Indian refinery...to be built for the first time in the world. The total order inflow in H1 FY19 for the process plant and nuclear equipment business of heavy engineering has reached Rs 2,661 crore, a significant achievement after a prolonged subdued market scenario," Larsen and Toubro said in a BSE filing. Larsen & Toubro is an Indian multinational engaged in technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and financial services with over USD 18 billion in revenue.

L&T bags orders for construction of power T&D jobs

Larsen & Toubro has bagged construction orders worth Rs 2,084 crore. The orders are for engineering and construction job for power transmission and distribution project. This include international orders in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Qatar and Malaysia.

The company said it has won a "major order" in Saudi Arabia for the construction of 115kV substations with associated transmission lines and cable circuits. It recieved another order for 132kV cable works for a substation in Dubai, UAE. The other international orders are also for setting up of sub-stations.

 NBCC Ltd secures order from IIT Mandi

State-owned NBCC (India) Ltd has bagged a Rs 100-crore order from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mandi. NBCC has been awarded the work as project management consultant for construction and development of student hostels, dining hall and faculty housing at IIT, Mandi Campus.  To be developed on a total area of 26,441 sq metres, the company will complete the project within 12 months. It has been undertaking several significant projects in educational infrastructure segment, the prominent ones being IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, NIFTEM. NBCC (India) Ltd is a Navratna enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

Power Mech Projects bags orders worth

Power Mech Projects, last month said it has bagged two orders worth Rs 245 crore in the domestic market. The company has received letter of intent/work orders for structural and architectural works of main plant area of unit 1 at 2x800 mega watt (MW) Uppur Super Critical Thermal Power Project, Ramanathapuram District, Tamil Nadu for a total contract value of Rs 136 crore, the company said in a BSE filing. The company said it has also secured an operation and maintenance contract for 2X800 MW coal based Yeramarus Thermal Power Station for a period of 30 months at Chikkasugur, Raichur District, Karnataka for a contract value of Rs 109 crore.

JMC Bags New Orders

JMC Projects (India) Ltd (JMC), a leading Civil Engineering and EPC company said that it has secured new orders of Rs 596 crore.According to the company, the projects include residential and commercial projects in South India totalling Rs 434 crore and civil works for a steel plant in Orissa for Rs 162 crore.

Shriram EPC Ltd bags 2 orders worth

Engineering services company Shriram  EPC Ltd said it secured two separate orders worth Rs 166.16 crore and Rs 59.55 crore from the Jharkhand Urban Infrastructure Development Co Ltd.

In a statement issued here, Shriram EPC said the scope of work of this order involves augmentation and strengthening of the Dhanbad Water Supply Scheme - Phase 1 under the Dhanbad Municipal Corp and a water supply system for Khunti Nagar Panchayat. With these orders, the consolidated order book grew to around Rs 3,500 crore, the statement said.

NBCC bags order for construction of office building in Delhi

State-owned construction firm NBCC has bagged a Rs 172 crore order from the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship for construction of office building in the national capital.  NBCC (India) Ltd has received a letter of award (LoA) of work from Government of India for construction of office building i.e. Kaushal Bhawan at New Delhi. The estimated cost of project is Rs 172 crore (approx), NBCC said in a BSE filing.

Jain Irrigation Wins New Order

Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd, India’s leading micro irrigation company and agriculture conglomerate, has bagged one more order of integrated Micro Irrigation Project in Karnataka after successful execution and commissioning of more than a dozen large sized integrated micro irrigation projects in the country. According to the company, the project is based on “Resource To Root” concept pioneered by Jain Irrigation, which fulfils both the objectives of PMKSY (Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojna) i.e. “Har Khet Ko Pani” and “Per Drop More Crop” to bring the reforms in irrigation sector. Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Ltd, a Division of Water Resources Department of Karnataka, has placed this order on the company through National Competitive Bidding.

BHEL bags solar power plants in Telangana

State-owned power equipment maker BHEL last month said it has won an order worth Rs 565 crore from Singareni Collieries Company for setting up solar photovoltaic (SPV) power plants in Telangana. Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) said the order valued at Rs 565 crore is the largest SPV power plant order won by BHEL till date. The plants are to be set up at four locations in Telangana - Ramagundam (50 MW), Yellandu (39 MW), Manuguru (30 MW) and Pegadapally (10 MW), on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis, the company said in a regulatory filing.  BHEL said with the order its solar portfolio has risen to more than 710 MW.

L&T Construction bags contracts across domestic market

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) said its construction arm has won orders worth Rs 1,060 crore in the domestic market. "The smart world and communication business has secured a major order from the Andhra Pradesh State FiberNet Limited (APSFL) for Bharatnet Phase-II works to establish an IP/MPLS Infrastructure covering the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh," the engineering and construction major said in a BSE filing. The scope of the work involves creation of a digital infrastructure-including-implementation, end to-end integration and commissioning of Internet Protocol/Multiprotocol Label Switching (IP/MPLS) Network, network operating centre, disaster recovery and cloud-based data centre the company added.

As per a BSE filing, the company has been awarded with a letter of acceptance (LoA) by Mahanadi Coalfields for the extraction of coal/coal measure strata and allied transportation activities at Hingula OCP, Hingula Area.The contract price is of Rs 363cr (including GST) for the extraction of 16.20mn cubic metres over a period of 3 years, the company said in the filing. Sical Logistics is a logistics solutions company that has expertise in handling liquid and dry bulk, steel material, ores, oversized cargo, and containerized cargo. The company also provides a wide range of services to the mining industry.
