KEC International bags new orders worth Rs.1,313 crore

KEC International Ltd., an RPG Group Company, has received new orders totaling Rs.1,313 crore across its various businesses.

The company has secured new orders for T&D projects in India, the Middle East, and the Americas.

This includes a 400 kV Transmission line order in India, from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL). Another two orders are for the Supply of towers in the Middle East, secured by its subsidiary in UAE, and the Supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas, secured by its subsidiary, SAE Towers.

Company’s Railway business has secured composite order for the construction of a third railway line and associated works in the Conventional segment in India. While its Civil segment has secured an order for executing infra works in the Metals & Mining segment in India.Oil & Gas Pipelines business has secured an order for composite works for an oil terminal station in India.Company’s cable business also has received orders for various types of cables in India and overseas.

Maharashtra Seamless on securing order of Rs.130 crore

Maharashtra Seamless Limited  has received its first order of subsea sour service seamless pipes from an esteemed customer with basic value of Rs.130 crore approx.

The Company has displayed its technical expertise by successfully developing subsea sour service seamless pipes in-house in its continuous efforts to provide import substitution products and enhance margins. Subsea sour service seamless pipes are high value addition pipes and are used for subsea transportation of crude oil and gas in high pressure environments.

Capacities for these pipes have been developed for the first time in India keeping in view the Government’s policy of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

L&T Construction awarded (Significant*) contract for its Heavy Civil Infrastructure Business

The Construction arm of L&T has secured a significant order from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) for its Heavy Civil Infrastructure (HCI) Business to build natural draught cooling towers and a cooling water pump house for the Rawatbhata atomic power project -7 & 8.The scope involves constructing natural draught cooling towers, cooling water pump houses, erection and commissioning of cooling water pumps, and large diameter cement mortar lined and coated steel pipe (CMLC), the main medium to transport hot water from the turbine to the cooling towers. The project is scheduled to be completed in 36 months.

Rail Vikas Nigam secures contract worth Rs.1844.77 crore from NHAI

RVNL - SP Singla Constructions Pvt. Ltd. (Consortium) has been awarded Letter of Acceptance (LoA) by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

The LoA is awarded regarding Construction of 4 laning of NH-5 from Kaithlighat to Shakral Village (Shimla Bypass Package I: from Km 128.835 to Km 146.300 for Design Length = 17.465 km) in Himachal Pradesh on Hybrid Annuity Mode. The total estimated cost of the project is Rs.1844.77 crore.

Ahluwalia Contracts on securing new orders worth Rs.139.33 crore

Ahluwalia Contracts Limited  has secured new orders for the Construction of 12 Residential Buildings at Suraksha Smart City Vasai (East) Mumbai (MH). The said order is worth Rs.86 crore.

Further, the company has received other order worth Rs.53.33 crore for the Construction of 1 Residential Tower Building at Suraksha Smart City, Vasai (East) Mumbai (MH).

Blue Star bags orders worth Rs.375 crore in water projects business

Blue Star Limited has secured Water Projects orders totaling Rs.375 crore, thereby successfully marking its foray into the Water Projects business.

Blue Star, backed by its engineering prowess has secured three rural water supply orders from the Department of Rural Water Supply and Sanitation (RWSS), Odisha Government. The details of the secured orders are as follows:

  • An order worth Rs.126.51 crore for the execution of Mega Piped Water Supply (PWS) to 144 villages in Baliapal Block of Balasore District, Odisha, including five years of operation & maintenance.
  • Another order worth Rs.62.16 crore for the execution of Mega PWS to 72 villages under 11 Gram Panchayats of Nischintakoili block of Cuttack district, Odisha, including five years of operation & maintenance.
  • A third order worth Rs.186.68 crore for the execution of Mega PWS to 13 Gram Panchayats (GPs) of Banki, 17 GPs of Dampada, and two GPs of Baranga Block, in Cuttack district, Odisha, including five years operation & maintenance.

The scope of all the above orders consists field investigation & total station survey; soil investigation; hydraulic and structural design; procurement, construction, and erection of electro-mechanical equipment; testing and commissioning; and operation & maintenance; with an estimated  completion period of 24 months. “With the Company’s foray into the Water Business, Blue Star has entered into its next phase of expansion in the Projects Business category,” the  company said.

Surya Roshni Ltd has obtained orders amounted to  Rs.91.27 crore (including GST) for supply of API- SL 3LPE Coated Line pipes from Bharat Gas Resources Limited. The contract is for the domestic purpose and the time period by which the order is to be executed is 12 months.

The company has secured new order from CPWD Hamirpur, Division-II, HP for Construction of Permanent Campus of Central University of Himachal Pradesh at Dehra and Jadrangal (Dharamshala), District - Kangra, (H.P.) on Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC Mode 1) Basis worth of Rs.512 crore.

Power Mech Projects hits 52-week high on securing work order worth Rs.6163.20 crore

Power Mech Projects Ltd stocks in the fast lane on Thursday’s trading session as the company has received Letters of Award (LOA) worth Rs.6,163.20 crore from Adani Group.

The Letter of Award includes 5 Flue Gas Desulphurisation (FGD) Projects from Adani Group for installation of 15 FGD retrofits to coal based units situated at Mundra, Tiroda, Kawai and Udupi, on a complete EPC basis, to be executable over a 30 months period of time for their plants ranging between 330 MW to 660MW.

Further, these FGD units will effectively curb Sulphur dioxide emissions with 92% recoveries and will playa vital part in helping India’s ambitious goal of reducing emission-intensity as announced at the United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP 26.

KNR Constructions bags LoA for Rs.34.26 crore project

KNR Constructions Ltd  is in receipt of Letter of Acceptance for Construction of four lane road from IDA Pashamailaram Industrial Park to ORR (Patancheru - Shankerpally road junction) from KM 0/0 to 4/658 in Sangareddy District, in the state of Telangana. The contract is worth Rs.34.26 CRORE and the construction period for the said project is 18 months.

Gensol Engineering gets Rs.153 crore worth of orders

Gensol Engineering Limited has secured orders to construct solar power plants with a total capacity of 55.8 MWp.In the normal course of business, Gensol Engineering Limited received purchase orders from reputable clients in the month of August 2022 for the development of solar power projects totalling approximately 55.8 MWp in the states of J&K, Gujarat, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana, the company informed. Five of the seven transactions concluded by Gensol are full turn-key EPC projects, while the other two are Balance of System (BoS) projects. Similarly, while four projects will be built on land, the remaining three will be built on the rooftops of the clients’ factories.

Excluding taxes, the total cost of these projects is Rs.153.16 crore.

It is worth noting that four clients have renewed their orders with Gensol out of the seven projects, demonstrating the confidence that the firm has earned with its clients via the delivery of high-quality solar assets.

PSP Projects secure new work orders worth Rs.257.27 crore

PSP Projects Limited  received two new work orders worth Rs.257.27 crore, exclusive of GST.The work orders received include two work orders (WO) from repeat clients i.e., Development of Ahmedabad Airport in Institutional Segment and one Pharmaceutical Project in Industrial Segments worth Rs.128.01 crore and Rs.98.99 crore. Further, the company received remaining orders worth Rs.30.26 crore from the Precast segment.

Torrent Power bags Rs.2600 crore wind power project from SECI

Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has granted a Letter of Award to Torrent Power for Wind Power Project of 300 MW and confirming long-term Power Purchase Arrangement for the power generated from the proposed project.

The estimated project cost is Rs.2,600 crore and estimated date of commissioning is 24 months from the execution of PPA.
