EXCON Extravaganza

Recent research stated that Indian construction equipment market will grow at a CAGR of 8.9% during 2022-2028. With the Indian government’s aggressive push in Infrastructure, construction and real estate sector the construction equipment market has a greater opportunity to excel on the back of latest technological adoption and new age innovations.

To be a part of this impressive growth momentum, leading equipment companies are either foraying or expanding their existing offerings, which are aimed at serving not only the Indian customers but also the global companies. The recent news of JCB investing Rs. 1000 crore in setting up a dedicated exports facility for critical parts and components for the global operations in Vadodara, Gujarat is a testimony to the changing dynamics that we are all set to witness in the near future.

What’s more, the timely hosting of EXCON by CII will only intensify the growth momentum further… Leading Indian and global companies are readying up to showcase their latest offerings and technological prowess to their customers after a gap of almost 28 months. The stage is set for these pathbreakers to take the construction equipment industry to newer heights after a prolonged lull induced by Covid-19 pandemic.

Under the theme, ‘Building India for a New World: Competitiveness, Growth, Sustainability, Technology’, this year’s EXCON edition is expected to attract over 1000 exhibitors from India and abroad including countries like the USA, UK, France, Germany, Italy, UAE, South Korea, Singapore and Sri Lanka. The event will have, for the first time, new categories of exhibitions such as electric vehicles and alternative fuels.

While we are enthused to capture the event on ground, the organizers are equally brimming with positive response the event has been garnering from all the quarters. Be it the launch of new platforms or hosting intriguing panel discussions or setting the dais for the new launches in the segment, the organizers have made sure that the industry gets their deserving dues after a break of two years. The event’s focus on Women in Infrastructure needs a special mention as there are separate awards which will hosted on the sidelines of EXCON to honor companies who are making their workplaces more inclusive and are creating immense opportunities for women. Additionally, there are exciting events planned such as CXOs’ dialog, AI pavilion, alternate fuel pavilions, which are aimed at driving the growth of CE in the country. All in all, it’s going to be power-packed five days at BIEC, Bengaluru.

See you all there on May 17 to witness the EXCON extravaganza to unfold…
