Dilip Buildcon bags Rs.1,278 cr order for four-laning of Karnataka highway

Infrastructure major Dilip Buildcon bagged a Rs.1,278 cr order for four-laning of Karnataka highway.

The project under Bharatmala Pariyojna on hybrid annuity mode will be between Dodaballapur bypass and Hoskote section of NH 648. The completion period is two years and operation period is 15 years. The cost of operation and maintenance in first year will be Rs.3 crore.

RPP Infra Projects bags orders worth Rs.1,000 crore

RPP Infra Projects has won four work orders worth Rs.1,000 crore. The company received order from Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board for Rs.131.14 crore. The company has also received orders from Highways Department- Chennai Kanyakumari Industrial Corridor project for Rs.558.66 crore. RPP Infra Projects said it has secured Rs.187.14 crore order from Greater Chennai Corporation Strom Water Drain Department and Rs.123.07 crore order from Water Resource Department, Tamil Nadu.

McNally Bharat Engineering Company Limited - AML JV bags Rs.643.10 crore order

M/s.McNally Bharat Engineering Company Limited (Lead partner of Joint Venture) as “McNally-AML (JV)” has received an order of Rs.643.10 Crore from Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) vide LOA Reference No. NCL/SGR/CMC/NIGAHI CHP/LOA/20-21/64 Dated: 20.02.2021 for Planning, Design, Engineering. Construction, Fabrication, Erection, Supply, Installation, Testing, Trial Run And Commissioning of Coal Handling Plant (Phase-IV) of 10 MTPA consisting of all Civil, Structural. Electrical and Mechanical Works and all other accessories and facilities required to make it complete in all respects on turnkey basis and Operation and Maintenance of plant for five years in Nigahi OCP of NCL.

L&T wins power transmission, distribution orders worth up to Rs.5,000 cr

Larsen & Toubro has won orders from the power transmission and distribution sector worth in the range of Rs.2,500 crore- Rs.5,000 crore. These orders include two engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) orders from two solar photovoltaic units of 200 megawatts (mw) each in Gujarat. L&T will be responsible for designing, engineering, supply, construction, testing, commissioning and operations and maintenance of the grid connected solar power units.

The company won another project for evacuation of power from solar energy zones in Rajasthan to build a 765kV double circuit transmission line. It won the turnkey project to supply and install high voltage distribution systems in certain districts in West Bengal, which is a part of the grid modernization programme in semi-urban and rural areas being implemented by the state with multilateral assistance. It won another order to construct 220kV and 132kV transmission lines from the state’s transmission utility. In Tamil Nadu, L&T bagged an order to build a 400 kV substation. This project is aimed to meet the future load growth of the Coimbatore region and to strengthen the evacuation system of an upcoming pumped storage power plant. In international orders, L&T won an order to install line connected current limiting reactors for Qatar, a project that will help improve grid stability and enable use of existing switchgear without major replacements.

Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL) has won orders worth Rs.1,554 crore. The orders include those from India, CIS and Latin America in the power transmission business.

Besides, KPTL’s international subsidiary has secured new power transmission projects in Europe.

Godrej Interio bags orders worth Rs.250 cr for 3 metro projects

Furniture solutions brand Godrej Interio has bagged contracts worth Rs.250 crore for the metro projects located in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Kochi.

The scope of work includes carrying out the civil finishes, cladding, block works, facade glazing, metal ceiling, aluminium louvers, structural steel works, plumbing, railing and horticulture in these metro projects.

The contracts won by Godrej Interio include nine stations for Mumbai Metro, 12 stations for Bengaluru and two stations for Kochi Metro line.

McNally Bharat Engineering Company Limited (Lead partner of Joint Venture) as “McNally-Trolex-Kilburn (JV)” has received an order of Rs.531.00 Crore from Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) vide LOA Reference No. NCL/SGR/CMC/BINA KKR CHP / LOA/20-21/63 Dated: 20.02.2021 for “Planning, Design, Engineering, Construction, Fabrication, Erection, Supply, Installation, Testing. Generic Engineering Construction and Projects Ltd has bagged construction orders worth Rs.81 crore.

The work orders include a residential project based in Panvel worth Rs.44.68 crore from Cityopia Ventures Private Ltd, and special project for structural construction of replica of 12 Jyotrilings (Shiv Dham Phase I) at Kangnidar (Mandi), Himachal Pradesh, amounting to Rs.36.12 crore from Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Ltd.

Dilip Buildcon receives two new HAM projects worth Rs.2241cr in Tamil Nadu, Union Territory Puducherry

Dilip Buildcon has received letter of acceptance (LoA) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on hybrid annuity mode (HAM) basis in the state of Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Puducherry.

The scope of work involves four-laning of Viluppuram-Puducherry section of NH-45A (New NH-332) from 0.000 km to 29.000 km (design) under Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-I (residual NHDP-IV works). The bid project cost is Rs.1,013 crore.

The scope of work also involves four-laning of Puducherry-Poondiyankuppam section of NH-45A from 29.000 km to 67.000 km (design ch) under Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-I (residual NHDP-IV works).  The bid project cost is Rs.1,228 crore. Both the projects have a completion period of 24 months with operation period of 15 years from commercial operation date (COD).

L&T Construction Awarded (Significant*) Contracts for its Various Businesses

The construction arm of L&T has secured orders from its prestigious client for two businesses.

 

Water & Effluent Treatment Business:

The Water & Effluent Treatment Business of L&T Construction has secured EPC orders from the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Department, Odisha to execute individual Rural Water Supply Projects in the Kendrapada & Khorda Districts of Odisha.

The scope of work includes design & construction of Intake structures, 4 Water Treatment Plants of a cumulative capacity of 105 MLD, supplying and laying transmission and distribution pipelines, overhead service reservoirs, a booster pumping station, house service connections and associated electromechanical &instrumentation works including measuring the input & output of the quantity and quality of water at each level. The projects will provide drinking water to 12.28 Lakh people across 780 villages in Kendrapada & Khorda Districts of Odisha.

The business is already executing several other rural water supply projects for the same client.

The business has also secured a repeat order from the Water Resources Department of Odisha to construct an intake structure and pressure main along the right bank of Bargarh Main Canal of the Gangadhar Mehar Lift Irrigation Project in Bijepur, Odisha on EPC-TurnKey basis.

The scope includes design & construction of an intake structure, pump house, pressure main of length 34 Km and associated electromechanical & instrumentation works.

 

Building & Factories Business:

The factories arm of Buildings & Factories Business has secured an order from a leading Cement Manufacturer in India to construct a 10000 TPD Integrated Cement Plant in Pali, Rajasthan. The scope involves Civil, Mechanical and Equipment Installation works.
