Deepak Shetty, Deputy CEO and Managing Director, JCB India Limited has been with the company for over a decade in various leadership roles, both in India and at JCB’s World Headquarters in the UK. He makes this transition after having been the EVP Sales, Mktg, Product Support & Business Development for India & the South Asia region, a role he held for two years. Under his leadership, JCB’s iconic Backhoe Loader, a product that it introduced four decades ago, has reinforced its leadership in the Indian Construction Equipment Market.



He has also led to establishing JCB’s Tracked Excavators as a leading player in the industry more recently. Deepak joined JCB India’s Pune operations in 2010 and was instrumental in developing it into a Global Manufacturing Hub for the group. He later went on to become the Managing Director of JCB’s Global Excavator business in the UK for four years.








Ujjwal Kanti Bhattacharya, Director (Projects), NTPC joined NTPC in the year 1984 as Ninth Batch of Engineering Executive Trainees and was initially posted at NTPC Korba which was then situated in Madhya Pradesh. He is an Electrical Engineering Graduate from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He has also completed his PG Diploma in Management from MDI, Gurgaon.





Ujjwal started his career in Green Field Project Construction, followed by working in the areas of Power Plant Operation & Maintenance, Renovation & Modernization, Environment Management and Technical Services at NTPC Farakka (1600 MW) in West Bengal. After serving in Farakka in various departments, he moved to NTPC Talcher Thermal (450 MW) in Odisha, an old and underperforming asset, taken over from State Electricity Board. Under his stewardship, along with his team, the power station went on to become a top performing station in years to come.









A Krishnakumar, President – India, LiuGong India Pvt. Ltd. brings with him 35 years of rich experience and wealth of knowledge in Sales, Marketing and allied functions in construction equipment industry He holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Mumbai and Masters Degree in Management studies (MMS) from Mumbai University Prior to this he held key portfolios with JCB India Ltd and Tata Hitachi Ltd both on regional and national levels









Dr. Manish Kumar, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, NSDC India, is responsible for providing a strategic vision to NSDC in ensuring that the team moves cohesively towards achievement of Skill India Mission. Prior to joining the NSDC, he was working as Country Coordinator and Senior Institution Development Economist, The World Bank. He was Task Team Leader for USD 1.5 billion Bank’s loan to India for “Swaachh Bharat”. He earlier worked for the Bank in Middle East and North African countries covering Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Egypt, Nigeria, etc.



Manish earlier served in the Indian Administrative Service, occupying many responsible positions, his last being Secretary to Government of Tripura, Power & Home Departments.


Manish holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mining Machinery from IIT (ISM), Dhanbad, a Master in Public Administration degree from Harvard University, USA, and PhD in Public Policy from The George Washington University, Washington DC, USA. He has to his credit a number of research papers published in national and international journals, focusing on institutional economics, public private partnerships and economic development issues.
