PNC INFRATECH LTD WINS CONTRACTS FROM UP GOVT

The project of extension and resurfacing of runway at Air Force Station, Bakshi Ka Talab, near Lucknow has been awarded to PNC Infratech Ltd. The project is worth Rs.140.6 crore.

Last month PNC won a Rs.120 crore bid for upgradation of PWD roads in Aligarh and this is the second EPC model contract won by the company in the same financial year. The company is currently working on 21 projects on an EPC basis and till date has executed 51 major projects across various states in India including Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, West Bengal, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. PNC Infratech, has a portfolio of 7 operational projects through its various subsidiaries and associate companies.

TIRUPATI SARJAN LTD UGANDA ARM SECURES CONTRACT 

Tirupati Development (U) Ltd, a subsidiary of Tirupati Sarjan Ltd has secured a contract from National Housing and Construction Company Limited to construct The Naalya Pride Housing Project comprising of 280 apartments with associated infrastructure of 26.11 million USD equivalents to Rs.173.93 crores. The project will be completed in a Two Phase, Phase-1 comprising of 152 units & Phase-2 comprising of 128 units over a span of three years.

 

Value  Rs.804.97 cr.

L&T WING WINS NH-66 CONTRACT

The four laning contract of the National Highway-66 bypass stretch from Mukkola to Karode in the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border has been awarded to L&T by NHAI ( National Highways Authority of India). The project will be undertaken in EPC mode under the third phase of the National Highways Development Project. The duration of the project will be two years and the total cost of civil construction work had initially been estimated at Rs.804.97 crore. The scope of the project includes the maintenance of the developed stretch, 16.5 km, during the Defect Liability Period, which has been set at four years.

BHEL BAGS ORDER FROM NTPC & SAIL JV

BHEL, the state run engineering firm has bagged a joint-venture company of NTPC and SAIL, worth Rs.1,600 crore to set up a coal based thermal power project in Odisha. Located in Rourkela, the 1x250 Mw coal-based thermal unit will be set up on an EPC basis (engineering, procurement & construction basis). The order for Stage-III of Brownfield Power Project worth Rs.1,600 crore orders has been placed on BHEL by NTPC-SAIL Power Company. While the company's power sector division shall be responsible for civil works and erection/commissioning of the equipment while the key equipment for the contract will be manufactured at BHEL's Trichy, Haridwar, Bhopal, Ranipet, Hyderabad, Jhansi, Thirumayam and Bengaluru plants.

BMC AWARDS CONTRACTS WORTH Rs.227 CRORE 

A Rs.227-crore proposal for repairs and construction of bridges had come up before the standing committee for discussion and RPS was shortlisted for a Rs.56 crore contract for constructing a bridge over Mithi river and for a Rs.55 crore contract for the construction of a bridge in Vikhroli. J Kumar was shortlisted for a Rs.55 crore contract for the construction of Hancock bridge. It was also shortlisted for a Rs.60 crore contract of a flyover on Yari Foad.

A2Z INFRA BAGS ORDER FROM NEPAL ELECTRICAL AUTHORITY

A2Z Infra Engineering has secured an order from Nepal Electricity Authority  which is a government of Nepal Undertaking, for the expansion of distribution network in eastern region of Nepal, for a contract price of that adds up to $13.08 million. A2Z Infra Engineering is primarily engaged in providing Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services in power transmission and distribution sectors with focus on distribution. It forayed into the renewable energy generation business by setting up three biomass based power plants (15 MW each) in Punjab in collaboration with sugar mills on Built Own Operate and transfer (BOOT) basis.

 

Value Rs. 492.65  cr.

AHLUWALIA CONTRACTS (INDIA) SECURES ORDERS 

Ahluwalia Contracts (India), a company that provides construction related services including design on turnkey basis has secured new orders aggregating approximately to Rs.492.65 crore to construct an Institutional & Commercial Building, which includes electrical, plumbing and firefighting Services. Orders worth Rs.401.59 crore is for South Asian University campus at New Delhi and Rs.91.06 crore is for structure and finishing work of Brookfield Assets Management. Currently the company is L1 in projects valued at Rs.673 crore and the projects bidded in the pipeline are Rs.1,800 crore. The total order inflow during the FY 2016- 2017 stands at Rs.492.65 crore.
